it is superfluous to say "pac still myt win"...of course both ricky and manny has 50-50 chance to win no matter what the odds are! Those who think otherwise are just trying to piss-off some people. These two boxers will surely go to war in “full metal jacket”. I go for Pacman because of what I believe in and respect others’ prediction/s. all our predictions are conjectures that remains to be seen. But some posters are outright ridiculous in their claims……

Agreed. And they both agreed to the terms. No one was sure who`ll win before the fight. And Pac won. That`s it.

I really don`t see how you can be sure of anything especially if it`s the Pac ur talkin about. Beating that version of De La Hoya MAY OR MAY NOT prove that Pacman can beat the elite Welterweights. That remains to be seen. And it has nothing to do with your knowledge of boxing.

That's exactly my point. You can't be sure of anything because that fight didn't prove anything about how he'd do against other top Welters. You seem to think I'm saying he would definitely do badly against other top Welters, but that's not what I said. I said that fight didn't prove anything in that respect.

No what remains to be seen is whether Pacman can beat the elite Welterweights (or Jnr Welters). If that fight had proved that he can, then nothing would remain to be seen. But it didn't.

If Pac beats Hatton convincingly, it won't mean that the DLH fight proved anything, it will mean that the Hatton fight proved something.

Having said that, the DLH fight did prove that Pac can take most of his speed and a lot of his power up to weights above 135. But it didn't prove whether or not he can take enough of his speed and power up with him to beat elite fighters who are not weight drained, at those weights - or how well he can take heavy punches from elite fighters at those weights.

I agree, QUISQUEYA is a Pac hater who claims, apparently without any intentional irony, to be a fan.

                  I beg to differ.

He believes that De La Hoya killed his body while trying to make weight and it wasn't that hard to get a win over him that night. Hatton faces Pacquiao on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Watch the UK broadcast version of DLH vs Pacman. You can hear Hatton's comments during the fight where he was incredibly impressed with Pac. I think he even used the words "stunningly impressive" or something along that line.

Based on what we`ve seen per se, I consider Hatton, Cotto and J.C. Chavez Jr. Elite Junior to Super Welterweight Titleholders that Pacquiao can beat. But that`s only how I feel about it, wat u think?
