Is a win possible? sure. better than pac? highly unlikely.
Not saying it would be better than Pac's win. But he probably would have won, as would any welterweight. Are you saying that ODLH was in better fighting condition than Collazo when Hatton beat him to become WBA welterweight champion?

What im saying is hattons is in no position to say he would have won a fight against delahoya that night based on his less than impressive performance at 147.

Can anybody win against delahoya that night? elite welterweights probably.
Can they perform a better performance than pac that night? some may

But to state that anybody couldve have beaten delahoya that night is just plain irresponsible or dumb.imo

All i'm saying is Hatton is right to downplay the win, as DLH was weight drained.

Had DLH not been dehydrated, then Hatton would have no right to downplay anything.

Pac is a great fighter, no doubt, but to say he was soo magnificient against a prime, comfortable at the weight, in top fighting condition Oscar, is just wrong. He was not in good condition at all, and so the win should be downplayed as a result.

...................and Hatton's last win was anything special?

He keeps talking about Pauli's speed. Well just remember Pac has the speed and the power behind the punch... unlike Pauli.

Pac is going to "DESTROY" Hatton just as Money did, maybe even worse.

I never ever say Oscar was prime.never. Was he weight drained ? sure ,
whose fault is it anyway? Yes it is Oscar and his all star team's fault(Nacho,Dundee, and garcia)

              What makes Pacs performance impressive?

              > He dominated delahoya and made him QUIT(remember this was a result nobody expected)

              > Oscars statements."Im gonna take his heart away", "im gonna consider it a failure if i dont knock him out", "If freddie thinks he knows me hes got another thing coming".

              > Pac was a former flyweight Delahoyas a former middleweight titleholder.

Compared to rickys resume a close/controversial win agains Collazo where he was visibly hurt, and a ko from the p4p Mayweather.

If someone was to criticize PAC, maybe someone more credible like Tito....but Ricky? give me a break>with all due respect.

There are other factors involved that make his win impressive, yes - mostly as he was the massive underdog. He fought a good fight on the night also.

But all Hatton is saying, is that ODLH was not in his best shape - not Pacquiao's fault obviously, but its the truth. And because of this, the win should - on retrospect - not be seen as that impressive.

when a former flyweight makes a former middleweight with an iron chin quit its impressive.
If someone says Mannys gonna blow through the welterweight division thats delusional.

malinaggi looked aweful in the hatton fight anyways. malinaggi just kept throwing one jab then would try to tie up hatton. paulie's hand problems turned him into a one handed fighter but if he had both hands he would have beat hatton easily in my opinion.

The fact displayed in such a way makes it impressive, definitely.

But to be realistic and say a dehydrated, past prime, former middleweight, then that takes away from the impressiveness. Thats what Hatton is saying, and it is correct.
