Hopkins def won that fight. There's no doubt. Calzaghe ain't land **** on Hopkins.

Edit: Hopkins was catching Calzaghe with clean counter rights all night.
When you say all night, you mean like twice a round right?

Seriously Calzaghe landed nothing significant maybe a handful of REALy hard (by Joes standards) clean shots. The rest were pit-pat punches but still landed. Hopkins was throwing NOTHING after the 3rd rounds, Hopkins is a huge favourite of mine don't get my wrong but he fought that fight soo wrong. He was clinching twice as much as he was punching and landed the straight right counter (he throw no other punches) every so often but nowhere near enough to beat even Calzaghe pit pat crap ass shots.

Joe also beat up Roy that night. Everyone knows it, Roy wasn't the same Roy he was and Joe beat him up.

i agree he was never hurt.it was a very close fight but hopkins excessive clinching didnt help his cause,i think calzaghe won clearly in the end, just my opinion

In the case of Joe-Bernard, Workrate won Joe the fight because Hopkins wasn't throwing anything.

But I can see your point if one fight throws 100 punches and lands 20 whereas another throws 50 and lands 20 also doesn't it depends on how hard the punches landed were? Theres more than one way to evaluate punching.
