lets say 1 fighter throws 100 punches and land 15 and 1 throws 20 and lands 18...how the hell does the guy throwing 100 win the round????by beating up the air....you're suppose to punch to connect not just to punch...this is pretty ****ing ******...

Unless the volume puncher is fighting Pernell Whitaker... you know some (probably a lot) of those 85 misses will be partially blocked punches that do partial damage.

There's a reason that volume punching is rewarded, and it is because there is not just hits and misses, the in betweens allow them to make up for their lack of accuracy.

Like I said I understand what your beef is and i agree a lot of fights go the wrong way because of it, but there are also times when you should win off work rate such as when it has an impact on the Ring Generalship of the match.

Reason why I had B-Hop beating Calzaghe. Calzaghe didn't land ****, B-Hop may have not been too active but he landed the cleaner harder shots

Larry, If the 3 judges for the Hopkins/Calzaghe fight saw things your way, Hopkins would have won a UD by scores of 120-108 on all 3 cards. Calzaghe didn't land one significant punch in the whole fight. Just hit air all night and won for his work rate.
