thats dumb though because u cant base the jennigns fight cause no one knew jennings but when he fight marg and mosley he did ova 400k buys in each. mayflower vs baldomir did 325k. Also if they fought pac and mayweather theyd have to give some money to the other promoters and every one involved here the fighters will get more money because its less ppl involved the fight will be made easier and also ist same promoterOscar is the biggest draw in boxing we can all agree on that. When he lost to Mayweather did he go straight back to PPV? NO!!! He fought Forbes on regular HBO because he was looking ahead for a big PPV rematch with Floyd. So people who know boxing plan ahead. Like you said you will buy any PPV event with Floyd in it and so would everybody else posting. But would you buy all of Cotto's PPV? And your answer will probably be NO. Because if that was true he would have did more than 150,000 buys in his return bout against Jennings. When was the last time Floyd only did 150,000 buys? It just kills me how everybody can say Floyd didnt do big numbers without DeLahoya or Hatton. Tell me who was Delahoya and Hatton fighting to get their biggest draws in PPV? Dont fall for Arum b.s. even he knows Floyd is a bigger draw in PPV than Cotto. What do any of you honestly think PAC will fight in New York? Always remember the numbers DONT lie!!Comment

Cotto has a larger following?? How many buys does Cotto have over 400,000? One!! Thats a pretty big following. Floyd had more buys fighting Judah and Baldomir. Mayweather sells to boxing fans just on pure hate alone. So many want to tune in to watch him lose. Just like Ali used to sell out because so many people wanted some one to shut his big mouth. Ask yourself who do you think was the big draw in the Cotto-Margs fight for the "Ring" WW belt? Exactly Margs!!! Where was all Cotto's followers then?nobody thinks that pac should jump to WW. he would get destroyed by e, ither cotto or mayflower.
try to stay on topic, which is that cotto would ask for a lot less, would be easier to promote (both are top rank) and cotto has a larger following
mayflower doesn't sell by himself. hatton sells, DLH sells. that's why those are his only 2 good PPV fights saleswise
anyways, pac better stay in 135 and 140Comment

Get it through your head Floyd has better PPV numbers than Cotto. I understand you want to forge Cotto to a big win but Arum is trying to use him up before he gets away. In your own mind you know Cotto has no personality to sell a big fight...Look at his Marg numbers!!thats dumb though because u cant base the jennigns fight cause no one knew jennings but when he fight marg and mosley he did ova 400k buys in each. mayflower vs baldomir did 325k. Also if they fought pac and mayweather theyd have to give some money to the other promoters and every one involved here the fighters will get more money because its less ppl involved the fight will be made easier and also ist same promoterComment
cotto has fought real welterweights, unlike floyd who dodged all those guys. god gave him all the tools, just forgot the heart.
What true Welterwights has Cotto fought? Judah?(Mayweather already fought him) Shane Mosley?(Hometown decision) Michael Jennings? Alfonso Gomez? Carlos Quintana?Margarito don't count cuz he's a cjeat..Only real Welters Cotto has fought is Judah, and Mosley..Not hating on Cotto at all I'll give him a lot of credit if he beats ClotteyComment

If you read my post you would know I said if Cotto was such a big draw he should have at least GOOD numbers fighting anybody even Jennings!!thats dumb though because u cant base the jennigns fight cause no one knew jennings but when he fight marg and mosley he did ova 400k buys in each. mayflower vs baldomir did 325k. Also if they fought pac and mayweather theyd have to give some money to the other promoters and every one involved here the fighters will get more money because its less ppl involved the fight will be made easier and also ist same promoterComment
