Shane Mosley is Not Interested in a Fight With Andre Berto

Sugar Shane Mosley has to be one of the slowest thinking boxers in the sport. This guy holds two of the most memorable wins in the sport of boxing, De La hoya fight 1 and Antonio Margarito (Both were in their primes) & this guy (Mosley) is sitting around waiting for all of these star boxers/fighters who mind you have their own business and agendas after their fights?

Sugar Shane Mosley hasn't even been mentioned by Hatton/Pacquiao or Mayweather. His best bet would be to fight Andre Berto in the meantime get that strap and build up his name and star power to become a mega pay day & status fight for other boxers.

I figure that he would be a bad business man especially since he had his wife as his manager? While he sits on the side lines and wait, his age will catch up to him. The only fighter he has a shot at is the winner of Cotto/Clottey and that fight would happen most likely in the fall? Mosley lost a lil creditability in my eyes for this decision. He should be striking while the iron is hot. At this point in his career HE SHOULD BE THE BIG $ FIGHT!!!!!!! Shane is an idiot.

Berto's people probably don't want a Mosley fight now anyway. Shane can still fight Quintana, punching bag Cintron, some1 else. If Floyd wants a July date fight Shane/JMM/welterweight contender.

Yes, he has put in a lot of work but in the process has made a
lot of bad business decisions. He cannot make up for his past mistakes but he can learn from them by making better ones for the present/future and this decision is by far the dumbest one he could possibly make considering the fact that NO ONE is putting Shane Mosley on their wish list because he is too dangerous with a low $ value. The only thing he can do is fight and beat the young Undefeated Andre Berto and get that belt that belt Floyd vacated (A win against the younger Undefeated CHAMP Berto would look good on his resume).


Or better yet after Berto he can fight the winner of Cotto/Clottey and by then he is the UNIFIED CHAMP. If he waits for the winner of Pacquiao/Hatton I'm sure he will be overlooked. and when he finally meets Cotto or Clottey (Whoever wins) the inactivity of Shane Mosley could become a factor going against the younger Miguel Cotto (Who did beat him before) or the rugged Joshua Clottey. Mosley shouldn't be in boxing he should be in Las Vegas playing craps in the Casino's because clearly he is a ******** man.

Sugar Shane Mosley doesn't have a good Marketing team or a strategist on how to sell him. Pacquiao/Mayweather/Hatton/Cotto all made themselves popular to some extent to where fighters want to fight them and will do whatever to get the chance. Mosley gets to that point and then makes another bad decision & throws his whole game off. After that spectacular fight he had with Antonio Margarito he should have hit the ground running and said you know what?

I want ALL the belts at 147!! If I can't have Cotto then "BERTO YOUR NEXT" something to in that nature. On top of that, he said that he doesn't want the Miguel Cotto rematch because it is in New York? WOW!! I know that's Cotto turf but to go back to where you felt you were robbed on Cotto's home turf and beat him would really make a MAJOR statement and help YOU become that MEGA $ fight!!!

But again Shane had his wife make all the decisions and now he
is his own manager? Over all Shanes problem is that he thinks too highly of himself but as so many wise people have stated to me

OK, so your saying he should wait till almost the end of the year to fight again for perhaps a lil extra? He fights Berto and gets most of the purse because Mosley would be the draw in that fight so he could possibly get a MIL more than Berto.

If Mosley waits for Cotto/Clottey winner that would mean that Cotto or Clottey (Depending on who wins) get another title and a big win and when it's time to fight Mosley demands more of the $ since whoever would be a two time 147 champ? Mosley gets less in the end anyways so it's a lose/lose situation for him because we all know that Arum is not going to let Mosley get 50%.
