Shane isn't getting any younger. He needs to strike a big fight deal sooner rather than later. Berto isn't a big fight and it isn't going to fill his pockets either. Pac, Hatton & Floyd would all bring Shane a truck load of money and he isn't without a chance of beating all of them. You can't blame him for waiting for one of those 3 guys. The payoff will make the wait worth while.

I agree that he should take this, get Berto out of the picture and set up the bigger fights since everyone is tied up at the moment. Or he could always call out Williams, who I'm sure would be glad to oblige.

You know, we as fans are like little kids dreaming about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I'm so tired of these fighters that talk, talk and talk and then Mr. Money comes and our dreams of possible matches are gone. I understand that you need to get paid for what you do, but in boxing were you have so many guys claiming that the are the best and them some that say, that other fighter is not in their level. I think that Mosley don't want Berto because he thinks Berto can outbox him and maybe lose the fight and with that, he not only looses the chance for a big money fight, but will also give Berto a big jump to the big money fights. For that, I don't blame him, and then you see the other fighters that say that guy is not on my level and go after Gatty when there was other guys wanting to fight him, but like I said, Mr. Money came in and took the blame.

shane is too big a guy to make pacman or hitman a competitive bout, not only that but the hitman and pacman know thi and are more likely to take the bout with JMM, not only is that more winnable for pacman/hitman but a trilogy between pacman and JMM is likely to be more profitable.

sugar shane should look to fight berto and the take on the winner of cotto/clottey. i can see why shane is chasing the fights that make economic sense especially since the divorce but he should look to take on berto.

berto is beatable for sugar shane and would set up a more lucrative bout with cotto/clottey.

maybe oscars ***** ass £££ making moves are rubbing off on sugar shane.

Mosley is getting old and wants to retire, not to mention has a divoource on his hands.
He probably doesn't want to waste a fight on Berto who is up and coming.
IMO though he should take the fight. Just to stay active during the mean time the other welters clear up their schedule.

He might as well try to get another title.

                      No more Mayweather rumors already

So Shaefer says he'll believe Mayweather is coming back when Mayweather himself says he's coming back. I sure wish everybody (reporters especially ) read this because it gets pretty tiring to constantly hear if Mayweather is coming back or not. In other words Move On Already!!
