I just dont see Cotto beating Clottey if Clottey comes correct....Jennings was f'n pushover who had no right fighting for a title at all........it was the greedy WBO who just wanted sanc $$$$....Cotto looked "decent" against a wack ass opponent.....i really wished he would've fought someone at least ranked in the top 5 or top 10 for that matter....although it earned him another belt (vacant by the way), we as boxing fans are left with a lot of unanswered questions regarding Cotto......
i got no problem with you picking clottey but questions about cotto? cotto looked decent beating mosley, judah, quintana and even marg until the plaster blocks kicked in. and he is fighting a top 5 ww in june. its not like he's waiting around for the lightweights to fight.

I havent seen alot of clottey 2 make a proper judgement on him, only seen his fight wit judah and his fight wit margarito...margarito fight he broke his hand so i cant take much into account, only tht he is obviously very strong...but against judah he had good reach and a good jab and there was one point where judah tagged him and he looked like he went 2 sleep for 1 second but recovered..by a right uppercut i think...i think cotto will beat him bcus clottey doesnt seem active enough around the ring and doesnt cut off the ring like margarito does..even tho he has the skills 2 do as such..i think he will give cotto 2 much time and space to control the outcome..

You see this is what's wrong with the mentality of boxers. Now all of the sudden Mosley only wants big fights....forget about the fact that he can't sell tickets thus the reason why he wants to fight Popular fighters.... so let's call it as it is, he want to fight a fighter that can make him a load of money. Now the question should be why does a fighter of Mosley's caliber needs to be an opponent to a more popular fighter... well the reason is the same one that we see right now.

During the last couple of years Mosley was content with fighting the likes of Collazo, Estrada, Cruz...... but all of the sudden they are all beneath him. This is the same thing that happen when he beat de la hoya... and guess what happen, he did not exploited his fame and failed to become popular with a strong fan base. Which brings us to our current predicament. Again Shane is flying the high horse and I hope this time he doesn't fall off of it.

I'm a fan of his skills and at his age he should stay active. Why not grab another belt and give us another showing, then he can command the millions to fight whoever is standing at the end of the year.

Agree. And the onther reason is that Clottey is open for left hooks to the body and thats Cottos best punch. Also Clottey is open for left uppercuts, and Cotto is very good at finding openings(Watch the N'Dou,Branco and Abdullaev fights). Plus CLottey doesnt take body punches well and gas out fast.

Clottey is a very good boxer, with very good skills, but Coto is a bit better than him!!!!!!!!

I feel for Mosley. he wants the big payday and he derserves it. but if Clottey beats Cotto, which I think he will, I dont think Mosley-Clottey is a big payday. and Hatton-Pacquaio winner is not moving up to fight him. maybe Pacquaio, but for damn sure not Hatton.
