Do yourself a favor...watch them. Your earlier assessment is way off.

One of the biggest elite MW ive seen fightinh welterweights is hardly an achievement.
Can you provide proof that Hopkins boiled down to make weight?

Thanks. Listening to you concoct ideas is tiring.

Calzaghe fights and beats Johnson they will say he beat an old guy that wasn't ever that good and his rep is built off of knocking out a shot RJJ.

Calzaghe fights and beats Dawson and people will say Dawson was hype job like Lacy. Especially all the people that are sniffing his jockstrap now, and just like the Lacy jockstrap sniffers did when Jo owned Lacy.

Calzaghe fights and beats Hopkins again they will say styles make fights and Hopkins was still better, its just Joes style is bad for Hopkins.

Reality is Joe would give ANY fighter that ever fought from 160-175 serious trouble.

True for Calzaghe and Taylor though, despite all 3 fights being very close.

This idea has been dubunked over and over. People act as if Calzaghe won't get credit for doing certain things but there's nothing that proves this.

The win over Lacy got him into the top 10 pound for pound.

The clear win over Kessler and close win over Hopkins moved him into the top three and ensured his ticket to the Hall of Fame.

And somehow we're supposed to believe he wouldn't have gotten credit if he beat Chad Dawson?

            Sure.

No, still false because I was referring to a prime Hopkins who, offensively, was vastly different from the 39yr old who fought Taylor and 43yr old who fought Calzaghe.

Let them people talk. Those wins would still be good and almost needed as resume enhancement. He'd be better off fighting those 3 and winning 2 out of 3 than retiring like he has in my book. Yup, I'd take a 48-1 record he could acquire over his current 46-0.

Well, no, his style may have changed, but he's still a fantastic fighter. Like he says himself 'he's a student of the game.' He's not a fighter like Roy Jones who relied a lot on reflexes/speed that diminished as he aged.

Agreed. Besides, what ATG is undefeated? Wait...the overrated Rocky Marciano, of course.

Kessler is ranked number two as an ATG Super Middleweight. That win can't be matched.
