Floyd Mayweather’s Disrespect of Pacquiao is Nothing New

Because DLH did not see any opening at all. Look at how he throws his punches. They are still crisp even in the last round. When DLH jabs, Pac is gone. Pac is either on his left, right, or away out. Pac gave a huge distance between him and DLH that nullify his jabs. Pac can dart in/out very quick and that is the difference in the fight.

Watching all DLH's fights even against Mayweather, his style is the same. No head movement. DLH was able to get into Mayweather because Mayweather just loves to stay on the ropes. He also made DLH looked good in doing that.

I don't argue that Pac Man is a greatly talanted fighter that has great heart. The debate is a big part of the reason I come to the boards. I think we can all agree that Pac Man and Mayweather would be a fight most of us would pay for. My biggest fear is it won't happen because Ricky wins.

Well thats the thing that makes me the maddest. Floyd is like Pac in terms of size. He shouldnt be fighting these guys. Ive said it before and Ill say it again. If there had never been an Oscar or if Oscar was a 135 pounder at the time then there is no way Floyd wouldve moved up in weight. He moved up to fight Oscar. Its just like if OScar was 160 and he moved up there to fight him. Now your going to call him a punk if he doesnt fight Pavlik? Those guys are naturally way bigger then him. He's not like Pac in that he can move up and be the biggest guy in every single division. Ive always said that not only is Floyd the P4P best but he's also P4P the smallest guy in boxing. He can just get away with it because his skill level is so high but he easily couldve stayed at LW his whole career and maybe just finished at 140 at the end. He's not a big guy at all but yet everyone wants him to fight a Williams, Margarito, Cotto, or Clottey who all make him look like a little boy when you see them next to eachother. All those guys come in the ring between 162-170 pounds while Floyd is coming in at 148-149. Its not fair.

Why does everyone think that these guys want to fight him? They want to fight him because they dont feel that he has any chance to hurt them, he's a little guy, he's the biggest pay day out there, he will have to pot shot them to win, and they will get the credit of beating the #1P4P guy in the sport. Its just like if they had to go fight at SMW or something. Even a year or 2 ago those same fighters were clowning Floyd and talking about how small he is. Even when the talk trash to the other fighters, they bring up Floyds name in a small way. Williams use to say that Floyd doesnt even belong at WW and Margarito just wants to fight him because they know that. Cintron always talked about how Floyd is too smalll and would get hurt by those guys. I still think he can win because he's that good but people are fools for saying that he has to fight these guys and there bigger fools for saying that there warriors and he's not just because there brave enough to fight guys who are there size and most of the times way smaller then them. How many times has Margarito fought someone bigger? He hardly ever has and he's lost when he's done it. We always talked about how Cotto never fought anyone close to his size so the Margarito fight will be a shock to him. Cotto makes Floyd look like a little boy and Margarito made Cotto look like a boy in the ring but yet people want to force Floyd to fight Margarito? It makes no sense.

Meanwhiile Floyd has fought a ton of guys bigger then him. He's always the smaller man. Let those guys do it and see. Think about it. He's the best fighter in the world and all those guys are jumping to fight him. Its not because there bad. Its because they know they have a huge advantage. You dont really think none of those guys are P4P on Floyd's level at all but you do think he might lose, why? Its because there so much naturally bigger & stronger.

all excuses floyd is a welterweight you idiot, he brags about being the best welterweight and doesn't back it up when challenged, thats why people hate him, for his loudmouth ^^

I can't believe how many people love Pac Man now. He is a great fighter, one that is exciting and fun to watch; but people on this board are talking about him like he is the best thing since slice bread. Wake UP!!! Mayweather is right, Pac Man is not on his level. He cannot out box Mayweather, there is no way.

But you know what, I not going to even get into this. Mayweather is UNDEFEATED and has fought quality opponents in his career. Maybe not so much at Welterweight, but definitely in the lower weight classes.

People I guess will always hate on him, and then when he beats up a hyped up fighter like Pac Man (I do think he is hyped up, though still a great fighter, people here give him WAYYYY to much credit) people will move to the next hype job. Mean while Mayweather will stay undefeated, and consistently good at his craft. When will you guys wake up and give Pretty Boy the props he deserves.

I read one person on this board say that Pac Man was a higher ranked ATG then Mayweather. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?? First of all, I think Mayweather is definitely a Hall of Famer, but I don't know about all time great. But if he is, he would definitely be ranked, or should be ranked, higher than Pac Man. He is just a better all around boxer and figher, and his ring intelligence and movement are off the charts. Pac Man fans, you know what, God bless Manny's heart and determination, he is great for the sport, but he AINT no ****ing Mayweather.

I would have to agree wholeheartedly with Mayweather. Pacman is not on the same level as Mayweather and anyone with any brains who knows boxing should agree with Mayweather. Pacman does have a crowd pleasing style, but he has struggled with some of the little guys like Marquez twice and Morales and some other guys we dont even know of have beat him. Mayweather would completely make Pacman look like a fool and Freddie Roach knows it too!

Mayweather has also fought some elite fighters and top fighters! And he fought against a much better DLH than Manny did. Manny fought a verry light and weak version of DLH. DLh was overtrained. Im not saying Pacquiao would lose to the DLH that fought Mayweather, but it would be much more difficult.
Mayweather knocked out Hatton, that was a classic. Lets see how Pacman does against Hatton. I like Pacman verry much, much more than i like Mayweather but the accomplishments and skills of Mayweather should not be overlooked. I would favour Mayweather against Pacman if Mayweather is still as good as before retirement.

Oscar may not have been overtrained but he was shot. A flyweight like Vic Darchinyan would have knocked him out that night. Props to Pac for training and cashing in but that was just sad.
