Fighting Pac would be like him fighting Gatti again. Another entertaining fighter in his own right. Pac is better than Gatti ever was but.... same result. You mentioned Floyd avoided the best fighters in his weight class. Do you have any idea what his weight class is? He's not a natural welterweight just because he won a title at welterweight. You would be a fool to expect Pac to fight Cotto or Margorito. Like Floyd he handpicked a welterweight not campaigned at the welterweight. Floyd is not big enough to fight there all the damn time! Yet Floyd did fight Corrales in his prime and Castillo as well. He fought the best in his weight class and moved up and above his weight class and beat some good fighters as well.
The problem is he behaved and spoke as though he was champion of the welter weights but meanwhile wouldn't give them a chance to fight him. Pacquiao isn't doing that. He made clear the restrictions of his WW campaign and isn't going around now saying b/c he's p4p#1 he can do anything. PBF suggested he was king there.

Oscar may not have been overtrained but he was shot. A flyweight like Vic Darchinyan would have knocked him out that night. Props to Pac for training and cashing in but that was just sad.

He isn't shot. Was he shot 7 months ago when he was bloodying Forbes' nose with 5 punch combo's and winning pretty much every single round?

How about when he took Mayweather to a split decision?

How many brutal battles has he seen since then?

        "Oscar is shot." My ass!

Mayweather is currently retired, but is fielding offers for a possible return against the winner of the May 2 bout between Pacquiao and Ricky Hatton. [details]
Floyd is a attention whore, and when somebody else is getting the attention he gets jealous and start bitching about it. He doesnt give credit to other people like real men due. He is a ****ing *****!!!!!!!!!!

Why yes I do think he was shot fighting Forbes. The only reason he won that bout is Forbes had nothing in his punches. When he was fighting Mayweather I think that was the cusp. That was when he passed the bend.

How could he have not been shot fighting Pac. He did not even attempt to fight back. It was a disgrace.

                Victim statements.

Why didn't we hear anything about Oscar being shot before the fight ?

                Diminished ?

                Clearly.

                But shot?...not a chance.

The win over Forbes wasn't pretty, but he won by a landslide, and against a smaller, quicker opponent. Which was the reason he was fighting Stevie in the first place.

I find it funny that a lot of people on this fight are basing their judgement on Oscar's condition on the fight. I think the people who would have the most knowledge of his condition as a fighter would be his team.

And his team clearly stated that he looked to be fine.

What this says to me is that it has more to do with what Pacquiao DID, in the ring, than what Oscar couldn't.

I mean its really simple. You can't hit what you can't catch. That was obviously the case.

He did attempt to fight back. He couldn't because he had no clue how to deal with Pacquiao. That's all there is to it. Damn, Oscar himself makes no excuses, Nacho doesn't, Angelo doesn't, yet random people on forums do...

^ Its because they're attempting to discredit Manny for what he did, subconsciously.
