Anybody in a uproar, or in shock over this article, is just taking the bait. As others have said, Mayweather called Pac a good fighter. What, you think he is going to genuflect, and praise him if asked about Manny? Keep dreaming.

Bottom line is, Mayweather beats Pac. I got 100k on it when the fight is made.

I would understand if Mayweather wanted to fight Pacman. But why on earth would he consider fighting Hatton again. Hatton is a slow one dimensional fighter. Sure he beat Paulie, but Paulie was over rated anyway. Pacman is gonna kill Hatton. A fight between Manny and Floyd would be just as big as the De La Hoya vs. Trinidad fight, but hopefully more exciting.

I would have to agree wholeheartedly with Mayweather. Pacman is not on the same level as Mayweather and anyone with any brains who knows boxing should agree with Mayweather. Pacman does have a crowd pleasing style, but he has struggled with some of the little guys like Marquez twice and Morales and some other guys we dont even know of have beat him. Mayweather would completely make Pacman look like a fool and Freddie Roach knows it too!

Well Floyd will surely back it up...and Knock out Pacman rather easy...especially at 140....and Floyd is not fighting someone bigger then him for a change.

And don't forget, Ricky was a lot smaller than Mayweather and it showed on the night they fought each other. So you're saying Floyd should not fight fighters bigger than him, but he should fight those who are smaller than him? And, seriously, how could he ever think of fighting Hatton again if he is really serious about how great he really is?!

I can't believe how many people love Pac Man now. He is a great fighter, one that is exciting and fun to watch; but people on this board are talking about him like he is the best thing since slice bread. Wake UP!!! Mayweather is right, Pac Man is not on his level. He cannot out box Mayweather, there is no way.

But you know what, I not going to even get into this. Mayweather is UNDEFEATED and has fought quality opponents in his career. Maybe not so much at Welterweight, but definitely in the lower weight classes.

People I guess will always hate on him, and then when he beats up a hyped up fighter like Pac Man (I do think he is hyped up, though still a great fighter, people here give him WAYYYY to much credit) people will move to the next hype job. Mean while Mayweather will stay undefeated, and consistently good at his craft. When will you guys wake up and give Pretty Boy the props he deserves.

I read one person on this board say that Pac Man was a higher ranked ATG then Mayweather. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?? First of all, I think Mayweather is definitely a Hall of Famer, but I don't know about all time great. But if he is, he would definitely be ranked, or should be ranked, higher than Pac Man. He is just a better all around boxer and figher, and his ring intelligence and movement are off the charts. Pac Man fans, you know what, God bless Manny's heart and determination, he is great for the sport, but he AINT no ****ing Mayweather.

I'm tired of the mayweather haters too. every time he's about to fight they talk so much **** about him and his whole career, for example the hatton fight, people thought hatton was the man to beat floyd and we all saw what happen that night... so here we go again and everybody saying the same ****, 30 have tried 30 have failed. and pacman will be 31 men to be added to the great career of Floyd Mayweather Jr.

what the **** are you talking bout? floyd has 39 wins not 30 and i think pac can actually beat him because he sucks against pressure ( example castillo, who hurt him and won the first fight and got robbed ) and even though zab judah fell off hard, he shows that mayweather struggles and cant adjust well to southpaws, mayweather sr even told him b4 roger trained him dont fight southpaws. and pacquiao gives a lot of pressure, doesnt let you clinch, almost as fast, has a great chin, definitely hits harder, and doesnt get tired or discouraged even if cut. mayweather wont be able to sit back and relax and counter punch against pacquiao. it would be a great fight, but i think pacquiao has his number
