Floyd Mayweather’s Disrespect of Pacquiao is Nothing New

Come on Floyd!! Unretire without conditions and Fight the Pacman. Welcome to the club of PACMAN KO VICTIMS. Feel the pains (yes, plural) of the Pacman's lightning hooks and left straights!!!!! I want to see how your big mouth gets blooded. I AM REALLY REALLY REALLY SICK OF YOUR BIG MOUTH. OK? [alberto manalon madrilejos].

Sure Mayfeather. And the result against your most recent common opponent (Oscar) backs that up right? Manny TKO8 - Mayfeather SD12. About half of the folks who saw that fight including the judges thought you lost and got a gift. PacMan is a bigger draw than Pretty ever was and he can't stand it.

Mayweather is right, Pac Man is not on his level. He cannot out box Mayweather, there is no way.

But you know what, I not going to even get into this. Mayweather is UNDEFEATED and has fought quality opponents in his career. Maybe not so much at Welterweight, but definitely in the lower weight classes.

People I guess will always hate on him, and then when he beats up a hyped up fighter like Pac Man (I do think he is hyped up, though still a great fighter, people here give him WAYYYY to much credit) people will move to the next hype job. Mean while Mayweather will stay undefeated, and consistently good at his craft. When will you guys wake up and give Pretty Boy the props he deserves.

I read one person on this board say that Pac Man was a higher ranked ATG then Mayweather. ARE YOU ****ING SERIOUS?? First of all, I think Mayweather is definitely a Hall of Famer, but I don't know about all time great. But if he is, he would definitely be ranked, or should be ranked, higher than Pac Man. He is just a better all around boxer and figher, and his ring intelligence and movement are off the charts. Pac Man fans, you know what, God bless Manny's heart and determination, he is great for the sport, but he AINT no ****ing Mayweather.
Mayweather Jr is Far fromthe level of Pacman, wether your're just blind to see it or just playing ******! Pacman record is 48-3-2 that means 53 figts in all, and Mayweather Jr is far from this record! And yes, you can not argue with me that Mayweather has no loses, but by reaching 53 fights do you believe he wont have lose until then?? He retired from boxing while competetion on his weight division becomes stiff, and the intention of retiring was so obvious, to run away from cotto, margarito and others who were rising stars when he decided to retire! To Pacman, put anyone in front of him and he would fight him, not just fight him actually but would give a tough and exciting fight against his opponent. To Mayweather Jr, he won perfectly from all his fights.. but most from a boring fights. His fights would just becomes exciting if his opponent would be the one to initiate moves, well, this is mayweather style to win afterall, but what is P4P king thing if he is a boring fighter??? He will iritate his opponent by keep on circling him until his opponent launch an attack without giving his defense much considertion and this is what mayweather waing for, an opening from attacking opponent, but what if his opponent tolerated his circling style against him by considering his defense much? This would be a BIG F-CKING BORING fights, and I am sure of that but this would also make his opponent to his level! Thanks, his opponents made an aggressive move though lost on the process but at least they gave ingredience of Mayweather boring fights. Of course, Mayweather would just become an aggressive and exciting fighter when he sensed that he owned his opponent. Between the two P4P Kings, I could say that Pacman is much better than Mayweather, and Pacman could destroy him once they face each other in the ring wether in 140 or in 147! Mayweather fast fists and run like chicken tactics would meet disaster from Pacman fast fists, slickness and quick awkward and inevitable movements! Pacman would dominate the kind of Maywether Jr because he is simply tailored made for Pacman! Believe me!

What this says to me is that it has more to do with what Pacquiao DID, in the ring, than what Oscar couldn't.

I mean its really simple. You can't hit what you can't catch. That was obviously the case.[/QUOTE]

I think you have captured our disagreement exactly. You believe although Oscar was diminished the fight was more about PacMan's accomplishments then Oscar. I maintain that the fight was more about the diminishment/shotness of Oscar then the acknowledged accomplishments of PacMan.

bahh. Methinks the hate has poisened your mind. Pac is a brilliant natural fighter. Mayweather is a brilliant natural fighter and also has the best ring tactical ability since Sweet Pea.

I really wish two things this Holiday season.

                1. People understand you can admire Floyd for his craft and ability without hating other fighters or blindly following Pretty Boy Floyd.
                2. That people can discuss Floyd on this board without frothing at the mouth about him if you don't agree with them. Will it really ruin your Christmas to not call him names? Whatever you call him won't change what he has done.

How can you say this when Pac started at 108? He puts pennies in his pocket to fight bigger guys. Barrera, Marquez, and Morales are well established at 126 when Pac was at 122. He beat HOF Barrera, Morales, and De La Hoya moving up. He battered Diaz moving up the first time.

Mayweather destroyed hatton with a 8 round KO. Hatton was undefeated at that time! Let's see what manny can do to hatton.

Because DLH did not see any opening at all. Look at how he throws his punches. They are still crisp even in the last round. When DLH jabs, Pac is gone. Pac is either on his left, right, or away out. Pac gave a huge distance between him and DLH that nullify his jabs. Pac can dart in/out very quick and that is the difference in the fight.

Watching all DLH's fights even against Mayweather, his style is the same. No head movement. DLH was able to get into Mayweather because Mayweather just loves to stay on the ropes. He also made DLH looked good in doing that.
