Fighting Pac would be like him fighting Gatti again. Another entertaining fighter in his own right. Pac is better than Gatti ever was but.... same result. You mentioned Floyd avoided the best fighters in his weight class. Do you have any idea what his weight class is? He's not a natural welterweight just because he won a title at welterweight. You would be a fool to expect Pac to fight Cotto or Margorito. Like Floyd he handpicked a welterweight not campaigned at the welterweight. Floyd is not big enough to fight there all the damn time! Yet Floyd did fight Corrales in his prime and Castillo as well. He fought the best in his weight class and moved up and above his weight class and beat some good fighters as well.

How is it that many Floyd fans use the excuse about "Floyd not being a natural WW, therefore he doesnt have to face anyone there", yet he went up to 154 to face Oscar and it wasnt a problem for none of you?

Wait, didnt Floyd HIMSELF say that he'll take on anybody from 154 on down?

I love Pac, but he would get murdered in there with Mayweather. I would love to see the fight, especially when Pac walks right through Hatton.

That is over a year old? I can't see why people are getting mad over it.

You know i would have no problem with Mayweather's trash talking if he would actually fight some of the guy he has trashed the last couple years. Ex. manny pac, antonio margarito, miguel cotto...

Mayweather has also fought some elite fighters and top fighters! And he fought against a much better DLH than Manny did. Manny fought a verry light and weak version of DLH. DLh was overtrained. Im not saying Pacquiao would lose to the DLH that fought Mayweather, but it would be much more difficult.
Mayweather knocked out Hatton, that was a classic. Lets see how Pacman does against Hatton. I like Pacman verry much, much more than i like Mayweather but the accomplishments and skills of Mayweather should not be overlooked. I would favour Mayweather against Pacman if Mayweather is still as good as before retirement.

When did Floyd tash talk Margarito, Cotto or Pac.... All he's ever said about Cotto is that he's not that popular in America. But other than that, ive never heard any trash talk to these fighters.

He's said many many times that he's not the only good fighter out there. When other Welters get mentioned after he wins his fights, he is extremelly humble and does not disregard any ones ability. What Welters did he trash talk after he beat Hatton and Larry Merchant asked him whether he would fight any other welter? NONE....

Some of you guys must really hate the fella.

All he says is that he's confident he could beat Marg, Cotto and Pac. And as fighters theres nothing wrong with that.

No he wasn't. Even Angelo Dundee said he wasn't, he said his training was great. Dundee made no excuses, Oscar lost to a brilliant fighter named Manny Pacquiao.

                      RM: So what happened?

AD: Well, what happened was: shoulda, woulda, coulda, you can’t look back. The kid was in great shape. So he wasn’t the winner that night. That is the way I put it. There are no excuses, nothing. The better fighter that night won, Manny Pacquiao.

RM: But do you think that De la Hoya over-trained?

AD: Ah, no, no, he trained the way he wanted to train.
