the bottom line is that Oscar's height, age, and body could'nt fuction at the low level of weight.this will happen to a even younger fighter that wants to **** around way to low of weight.the body is on a verge to collapse.this is no one's fault but oscars himself. a dumb ass margarito ducking decision.

And then giving examples of fighters in the past that were dreadful when they came back down in weight and drained themselves; especially at Oscar's age.
Oscar didn't know his history.

Oscar definately should not be fighting at 147 anymore.
The thing is, as Silencers said yesterday, this loss is going to severely reduce Oscar's marketability. His fights will not generate as much $$$ as they would have prior to the Manny beatdown.
I'm not sure if Oscar will be prepared to get in there for a significantly reduced paycheck. HE might, but I have my doubts.
If it is true that Oscar overtrained for this fight and just couldn't be effective at the weight then I would like to see him fight on at 154.

So what made him come back down? Greed and Knowing he was past his prime. He thought fighting a smaller man would cover those tracks. Wrong. A lot of these "small" guys are also non-stop punching machines with lots of energy. Their like the Terriers {dogs}; small, but full of energy and keep biting your ****ing leg and won't let up. Oscar thought that since he was bigger, he could just kick it and it will die. But, Oscar was a 94 year old Man that night with arthritis, cataracts, and asthma...who just spent 8 weeks at Auschwitz training camp.
In the end; he got what he deserved. But, I do wonder what happens to those that were fighters themselves, great trainer, have inside information, and take advantage of it. Karma hit you once; it could hit you again...Freddie.
