If Oscar decides to return to the ring to vindicate himself in a re-match, you can be sure it won't be at 147. He likely doesn't want to end his career on that note played last Saturday.

Yeah right, and almost everybody thought Roach was a fool and sick because of what he said before the fight!!

              Oscar still can......

Oscar ain't done yet. He just have to fight in his own weight which is 154. Merchant said he could have done better against Margarito than against Pacquiao. Manny was the wrong guy for him to fight. Pacman's style wasn't de la Hoya's cup of tea. You see, a boxer can be a hero or a zero depending on the type of opponents he can handle or can't handle. Even the best has a contra-fellow. After Ali decked Foreman, he revealed that Frazier--whom George Foreman had brutally knocked out twice--was a more dangerous opponent. There are lots of assessments and analysis that can be made about the dela Hoya-Pacquiao result, this is just one o' those.

I keep reading that DLH would have had an easier time with Margo and that is ridiculous. DLH would have been killed or knocked out in two or three rounds. Can we also stop getting carried away with the praise for Pacman. In his last two fights he beat the worst champ in boxing and a shot fighter. Dont get me wrong I love watching him but lets settle down.

it would be unfair for nacho to be blamed with oscar's loss to pac. nacho's job is only to train. nacho knew pac's fighting style the reason why he was hired by oscar. but pac has a myriad of techniques. in every fight, pac change his style. he can change his style in time, and this is nacho's error. he failed to predict the fighting style pacman would use in his fight with oscar. and even if nacho predicted pac's techniques, oscar cannot catch pacquiao. pac is simply too elusive to be hit with that dreaded left-hook of olden boy.

pacquiao was right when he said that delahoya picked a wrong trainer in nacho because he already dismantled nacho's prized ward, the bald, sore-loser marquez.
