Actually if you include minor titles Hearns also won titles in 6 divisions, but how many did titles did DLH win by beating the very best in the division? Name 1 title he won from the best in the division that can't be disputed.

Hearns was great but an ATG that's about as debatable as DLH. I've never listed Hearns as an ATG.

I give DLH credit for it. I put that near the top of his list. So did The Ring back in 2001. They put it as his 2nd best win.

The wins over Chicanito were good for both guys. Hernandez was younger when he fought DLH, but in his proper weight class for PBF, and still the top 130 lb. fighter in the world.

Glad you do cause not many people count that as a really good win. Another fight people seem to discredit is the Ruelas fight. Everyone was saying Ruelas was too good for DLH and all that. DLH ended up Knocking him out in the 2nd.

DLH was fighter of the year in 95 or 96(have to look it up) & P4P shortly after. People seem so skip that part too.

Who did Ruelas beat? a faded Lockridge? or how about Freddie? Are they or have they ever been great or even very good fighters? If DLH cleaned out the division we wouldn't be having this debate but he left too many questions at 135 before he moved up.

Tommy places higher than DLH because he beat great fighter like Duran, Cuevas, etc but I would say Hearns' place as an ATG could be debated especially with guys that think DLH is better than Hop rofl
