if you do 2 out of those 3 then you are probably ATG.

How many people can claim 2 of the above? 2-3 per generation at best.
Co-sign to this. But what is this thread starter getting at??? ATG???

ATG can mean top 100 all-time greatest not Top 20 or 30.

Surely Delahoya fits in the Top 50 somewhere having won 6-division world titles. How many people can do that???

Like I said DLH has lost to HOFs, Mosley 1 & 2, Tito, Hopkins, & Floyd.

Who else in this generation has 10x WC in 6 Divisions???

Lets not forget other OTGs in this generation have loses to guys that aren't even HOF worthy.

Jones lost to Griffin, Calzaghe, Tarver, Johnson. How many of those are HOFs or likely going into the Hall??

Hopkins lost to Calzaghe & Taylor, Jones, Mitchell. How many of those are HOFs??

Tito lost to 3 HOFs(there might be some debate with Winky).

I'm not trying to say DLH is top 20 or anything like that, he's not. 50-75 Range sounds about right. He still hasn't retired yet.

That's the major sticking point to me about DLH, he won a lot of titles in multiple weight divisions but most of the fighters he won it from were not on his level and he lost every big fight he's been in, if he's remembered as great, I think it's because of his impact on the sport more than anything.

I don't think so, but I've seen alot of people, type that he is. That's why I put it there. He seriously messed his career up by overpricing himself all the time.

We are talking HOF here right? Surely Winky makes the hall? Look at some of the other guys in there! This man has beaten former top p4p fighters in Mosley and Trinidad.

Yea, HOF. I just don't think he's done enough to it, but he isn't far either. Those are good victories btw, that's why I said he's not far out imo.

P4P is usually based on sports writer's opinions, hell Mayorga was once top 10 p4p according to them. Would you say he's a p4p'er? The fact is guys don't get into boxing to fight the best and lose in every competative sport you want to be the best. DLH has never been the best he's a notch below several fighters in his era and this is an era where boxing has taken serious hits from bad press to people like winky, margs, etc being avoided like the plague. How can DLH be an ATG when you can't rank him top 10 in his own era?
