To answer your question though, his record has nothing to do with how wide open and careless he is. Actually to be honest one could say his career speaks for it self (which is why he wont be an ATG) and his record has no justification on him being sloppy and careless because his record is full of mediocre fighters and with no one of the caliber of Jones jr. Of course he has old man Eubank, "Mini Mike" lacy, Robot Kessler and Old man Hop. With Hop being a SD that could have went either way but got a gift with an ugly bow. Which HEY what do you know, brings me to my point.

In this fight he was "CARELESS" "WILD" and could'nt land anything clean, a lot of air though. he slapped the **** out of some air. Like stated before this is where Jones will counter and make him pay for these attributes.

lies. flat out lies. revising history again are we? just like calzaghe was a huge underdog against lacy right? why didn't cortez take any points away for all these egregious fouls? maybe cause calzaghe kept rushing in like a moron with his windmill air punches. it was bound to turn the fight into ****.he didn't take any points from calzaghe either for constant low blows and behind the head punches(only clean punches joe landed) how does that warrant a win? at the end of the day hopkins landed all the clean punches and there is nothing you can do or say to refute that. you have to live with the lie and keep defending a windmilling fairy.

I'll speak and try to represent the Calzaghe fans.

Look, no one is saying that JOE DOMINATED THE FIGHT or anything ****** like that. The point is that Joe did more than Bhop did to win the fight. Bhop just did too little in that fight to deserve a win. Maybe Calzaghe didn't look brilliant in that fight. However, he did push the action and keep coming forward and attacking. Look at that fight again and tell me with a straight face that Bhop looked great in there himself.

Bhop might have had his moments of clean counterpunching but it was still too few and far between. Just not enough.

i've said from the start that hopkins got the raw end of the deal on that fight.
i've watched it live, ringside, i've seen it close to a 100 times, watched it in slo-mo, and i still haven't seen a calzaghe win in that fight. also i think that the compubox numbers were cooked too, because over half of the shots that calzaghe did connect weren't on scoring areas, unless you count low blows, punches to the back, arms, gloves, shoulders, behind the head, then yeah he outlanded hopkins, but, those aren't scoring area's, unless you're calzaghe.

another thing, how does calzaghe get a win when he didn't even land anything damaging? or do any damage other than that hammer fist to hopkins bladder?


it's old news but watch the fight again, in slo-mo if you can't see what is really going on and tell me who landed the cleaner, concise, fight winning punches, it was definately not calzaghe................
