But you dont get my argument,
I am not comparing his power to Hearns's, I am only saying that 10 pounds is not that much of a difference and a lighter fighter can actually his harder then his heavier adversary.

While it's true that Pavlik doesn't have that one hitter quitter dome splitter power of a Hearns or Julian Jackson, he can hit.

Taylor fought a much more cagey fight 2nd time around, he was much more defensive and tactical.

What makes you think he wasn't focused the first time?

The 2nd definitely has me questioning whether his power increases as he adds weight.

Improved defence, which the naked eye could see. Pavlik frame has room to add more muscle

              "taylor was more focussed"

              - BULL****!

he was focussed in the first fight and until the KO he did better than he did in the 2nd, knocking pavlik down in the fight. pavlik just didnt carry his power.

Pavlik had all his power in the second fight but he found Taylor much harder to hit.

Even then he had Taylor in some trouble with a body shot in the 11th round.

True, but when you're talking about fights like Tyson vs journeyman and Dempsey vs Willard, the smaller guy was much better than the bigger guy, and had great power, great hand speed and great combinations. The opponents were also not particularly good.

                  That's not the case here.

wlad klitschko weighs like 245 and valuev weighs like 320

                    ask yourself, who hits harder?

Tyson was proberbly heavier than them though and he was alot more aggressive always seeking the KO.
