America is basically the house of boxing. You come here and show that you are dominate, then you not only get recognition but you also make more money and get bigger fights. Everyone knew that Joe was good even before the Lacy fight, but he was not well known here and his fight with Hopkins didn't help much. His fights with Kessler and Lacy were on American television, but the Hopkins fight got more press because Joe was actually coming over here to fight. You have to fight top American fighters and on American soil sometime if you could be recognized. Look at Lennox Lewis.

        so WTF

i also dont see him getting a decision either cause of his poor stamina this is a sure fire victory as you can get IMO same as the Judah v Clottey fight

unless Calzaghe has detiriorated to the level Jones is at now then i only see one winner and it aint Roy im afraid
He did get knocked down by a weak ass hopkins punch.

When Hopkins punches, he leans into it so it looks like he pushed Joe on the ground. It was a clean right hand and a legit knockdown, just look at Joe's facial expression afterward. Was he out on his feet? Of course not, but was he stunned? Yes. His punches are just to wide.

How do you think a fight between Chad and Joe would go slick?
