      Yea,

I was talking to some random casual fan once about Khan. And he was like "Ahh You see him KO that bloke the other day? Khans well good", I think it was the Scott Lawton fight he was on about and i said that Lawton was there to get kncoked out and wasn't that good. His reply was "Yea well he's better than you". And then claimed he was right. I was like, yea i can't be bothered and he replied "Yea cause i'm right"..

I just walked off like whatever....

So, You just admitted that you can't prove whos oppenents were better basically. We havn't seen them fight outside of their fights with the 2 (Most probably), so you have no proof. I stated an opinion, And as i said earlier i don't really mind if someone disagrees with it.
I didn't admit anything, just that we can't say 100% because all we have is boxrec.

I just disagreed with your statement and wanted to give my point, people read these forums and make opinions off others (mostly idiots lol)

So when someone says "Hopkins opponents were better before his title fight" they believe that when noone sticks up for zaghe.

          Yes, it is very tedious.

I got drawn into a silly argument, i just hate it when EVERYONE says zaghes opponents are the "****tiest out of everyone in boxing". When it's clearly not true, and i tried to state that.

please don't compare duran , hearns and leonard at 160 to tito and oscar at 160.

duran won the 160 belt years afterwards.

hearns won belts all the way up to 175.

ray won belts all the way up to 168.

all 3 won belts in higher divisions years after hagler beat them at 160.

did oscar even WIN his wbo 160 belt against sturm?

Yeah. So your saying, You can't prove solidly who has better oppenents?

In which case all we can go on is opinion?

Which is all i stated. My opinion. Joes resume got better later on imo, Warren got him all the best fights at the later stages of his career.

I never said that. In fact in the lead up to the Hopkins fight i spent a long time arguing the solidity of his resume to people who said that.

Does it matter? Hopkins was 25, but he had just come out of prison. Calzaghe on the other hand had a long amateur career.

Point is. Hopkins beats guys who started in lower weight classes, Tito who had just KOd a fully fledged middleweight and afterwards did it to other middleweights, and Hopkins 'only fights welter weights'

Hagler has wins over guys who started in lower weight classes. And is one if he greatest middleweights of all time.

Hating Hopkins and saying "He only fought welterweights blah blah" is ****ing pathetic. Plain and simple.

                    Of course it does.

It's a big difference between a 21 year old and a 26 year old. Hopkins was boxing before he even went to prison.

I just looked at boxrec. com.

Bernard Hopkins has 5 losses, and Joe Calzaghe has 0 losses.

Joe Calzaghe knocks out more people than Bernard Hopkins, yet every Hopkins fan says Calzaghe has no power.

                      Joe Calzaghe beat Bernard Hopkins.

They say Bernard Hopkins was better when he was younger. But, the video proves Joe Calzaghe punched very hard when he was younger.

I think there is more proof Joe Calzaghe is better than Bernard Hopkins.
