You might say something similar about Calzaghe's performance against Lacy, its easy to look good when your opponent hasn't got anything to worry you.
    tito-hopkins? .........

hopkin's win was the worst thing to happen to the middleweight division.

it was a wily vet taking advantage of his natural size and strength advantages over a naturally smaller opponent. trinidad had middleweight power but just by looking at his body you know he's a natural welterweight.

still a great win for bernard though.

HUH? LOL Linares fights nothing like Duran. Totally different type of cat. Linares is a punches in bunches counter puncher while Duran was an aggressive machine with great defensive prowess.

Linares is showing signs of being a special fighter though if he can stay healthy.

Amir Khan's opponents are better at this stage than Calzaghe's were, although they are very well selected they have a higher level of experience than those of Calzaghe's, and although i am a critic of Khans he does despite what you think look the part (when he's upright). Secondly Joe took the WBO rout which was, and still is to a lesser extent, an easy(er) rout to a world title, lets be honest, most of the WBO mandatory's were a disgrace. Alot of fighters use this title as a stepping stone to bigger things, JC made his career out of it albeit fighting for the bigger titles in the twighlight of his career

I've watched the fight a million times and I still don't see where he uses his size and strength advantages... It was actually Trinidad who was pushing Hopkins into the ropes with his elbows, but he just could not land on Hopkins.

Hopkins was backing up all night and counter punching, very rarely did he ever go for a clinch.

Why face a prime Jones/Toney/Hopkins when you can fight Kabery Salem/Jiminez/Veit and others who i cant even pronounce

Couldve if they had actually wanted to fight him. Cant force them into a ring.

Toney wouldve fought him I think but he was too fat by then.
