we ALL kno, williams overlooked quintana that first fight...........he wanted kermit, and got quintana. hell, he didn't even spar any lefties in preparation for that fight w/ quintana. we saw what happened the second time tho.........

Neither Clottey or Williams is a PPV fight by the way.

but by PPV, i hope you mean, BIG NAMES to casual boxing fans as PPV..............


honestly, in terms of getting your money's worth, those fights are better than most fights that HAVE been on PPV this year........

the welters are the deepest, most intriguing division in boxing, and when you match the top contenders in that division, you're getting a fight worth every penny.

**** i'd dish out $50 to see clottey-margo or williams-margo before i would to see DLH-pacman. but sadly that fight will outsell them both...............

the second time i seen quintanta came in thinkg he could knock williams out as we ALL seen how fast he started and seemed not to use his boxing skills like he did in the first fight which he pretty much schooled williams.

I think Marg is just trying to clean up the divishion one fighter at a time, he wants to squash all the rumors of Clottey was going to beat him if he didnt hurt his hands so this fight he will take care of clottey once and for all no more excuses. Then if williams still has the belt he will go for him since no one else seems to want to fight williams, just like the first time around. the only man that will is Margarito.

quintana is far past overrated..........

against elite fighters, he's nothing. ko'ed by cotto in what 5? williams in 1?

the only reason he won the first fight is because he was overlooked. period. he even said in the post fight interview, "i told williams not to overlook me!"

put him in the ring w/ a zab judah or a kermit cintron, or an alfonso gomez for that matter. he'd have an easier time displaying his "skills."

I thought Clottey was hurt...

i guess its not as serious as first though, kinda like the injury in the Marg fight first they thought it was broken but wasnt as serious which is good news. Hopefully 3 months is enough time for this injury to fully heal.

This is a good fight. Hopefully the winner will fight williams to unify the title. But what about Clottey's injury? It seems that would make Nov 1 impossible.
