Williams was beating Margarito early and we know how that ended up.

But wait...he just started "slow" in that one. Right?

u kno wat bruh….on second thought I WOULD actually pay for that fight….DLH has only been stopped once in his career- by Hopkins at 160. I think DLH boxes circles around margaito, and he beats cotto AND margarito at 154………..

against elite fighters, he's nothing. ko'ed by cotto in what 5? williams in 1?

the only reason he won the first fight is because he was overlooked. period. he even said in the post fight interview, "i told williams not to overlook me!"

put him in the ring w/ a zab judah or a kermit cintron, or an alfonso gomez for that matter. he'd have an easier time displaying his "skills."

everyone raving bout williams and his boxing skills, punch output. That night quaintana schooled him. Did u happend to watch the fight? He was counter punching perfectly, now thats what i call skills to be able to do that to a guy that is much taller than you, has far more reach over you and has way more punch out put. I wouldnt call quintana an elite fighter but he has only lost to Cotto, and williams, but did beat williams once. im just wondering when there are going to fight again (williams vs quaintana)??

why should williams fight quintana again??? Williams KOed Quintana brutally under 1 round.

That's like asking RJJ to fight a rubbermatch with MOntell Griffin... why???

to settle the score maybe.... Quintana won 1 williams won 1. Okay i see it wasnt willimas night the first fight ( got schooled) now some can argue wasnt quintana's night. didnt fight his game plan.

its like saying cotto dont deserve a rematch because he got brutally beaten to where he gave up....

the difference between cotto and quintana is that cotto lasted 11 rounds whereas quintana didn't even last 1 full round.

I'd understand and agree with you if quintana won every round of a dominating fight until Williams landed a lucky haymaker to KO quintana but that's not what happened... Quintana got KTFO under 1 round. c'monmang!!!!

              Again I ask you: WHY???

                Lol. that's funny.

What's more funny that it should increase his confidence knowing that 1200+ punches didn't put him on the canvas at all.

Clottey is a gridy durable guy.

it still doesnt change the fact that Williams was dominated by a smaller opponent in Quintana. He didn't lose in a close match, he was embarrassed and upset by a fighter who utilized skills rather than brawn to CLEARLY win the fight. This is something that hardcore Williams fans want to forget and think that a first round KO rematch win easily erases. To any REAL boxing fan, Quintana's win was more impressive because of the skill involved in overcoming a fighter more than 5 inches taller and stronger.

furthermore, the whole issue with Williams's loss was how he was going to improve to ensure he didn't encounter and issue like that again. His KO win over Quintana only proved that he actually CAN punch but because the victory was so short, we really didn't see how or in what areas he improved. Regardless, the bandwagoners came out of the woodwork, came out of the caves after hiding with Bin Laden after the Williams loss and now Cotto loss as well to proclaim Williams as the greatest WW to ever lace them up.

And even then, when Williams DID lose, the bandwagoners that DID stay forgot all about Williams and now rode on the Clottey express regurgitating the same old tired "Clottey was beating Margo untill he hurt his hand" and "Why doesnt Margo rematch Clottey? Why is he scared?" bull**** and now that he IS rematching Clottey, he's scared of Williams? Its funny to see all this PBF girls hopping from fighter to fighter, which ever one they feel can be a threat to either Margarito or Cotto.

quick question: rjj had a tougher than usual fight against montel griffin and loss by DQ but in the rematch won by 1st round KO. Do you / did you think RJJ should've given Griffin the rubbermatch????

Margarito will TKO Clottey if they fight again. im interested in this rematch since clottey make so many excuses about oh my hand hurt it really hurts. **** that **** its part of a fight. margarito on avg lands around 100 punches a rd and i never hear him complain about his hand hurting! anyways though why are they thinking of making it a PPV? doesnt make much sense business wise...
