I'd understand and agree with you if quintana won every round of a dominating fight until Williams landed a lucky haymaker to KO quintana but that's not what happened... Quintana got KTFO under 1 round. c'monmang!!!!

    Again I ask you: WHY???

in the second fight he didnt last 1 round, but how about the first fight?

Not sure in the first fight he won every round but he did clearly win that fight landing the cleaner punches, effectively counter punching. Im not dis*****g the fact that he did get ran through in the second fight. the whole thing is i am asking if anyone has heard of plans if they will fight again, seein the first fight was such an upset are you saying there is no way in hell it can happen again. (quintana winning)

Read 205 post its quite interesting and has some good points.

He didn't lose in a close match, he was embarrassed and upset by a fighter who utilized skills rather than brawn to CLEARLY win the fight. This is something that hardcore Williams fans want to forget and think that a first round KO rematch win easily erases. To any REAL boxing fan, Quintana's win was more impressive because of the skill involved in overcoming a fighter more than 5 inches taller and stronger.

furthermore, the whole issue with Williams's loss was how he was going to improve to ensure he didn't encounter and issue like that again. His KO win over Quintana only proved that he actually CAN punch but because the victory was so short, we really didn't see how or in what areas he improved. Regardless, the bandwagoners came out of the woodwork, came out of the caves after hiding with Bin Laden after the Williams loss and now Cotto loss as well to proclaim Williams as the greatest WW to ever lace them up.

And even then, when Williams DID lose, the bandwagoners that DID stay forgot all about Williams and now rode on the Clottey express regurgitating the same old tired "Clottey was beating Margo untill he hurt his hand" and "Why doesnt Margo rematch Clottey? Why is he scared?" bull**** and now that he IS rematching Clottey, he's scared of Williams? Its funny to see all this PBF girls hopping from fighter to fighter, which ever one they feel can be a threat to either Margarito or Cotto.

lemme ask you a different question:

rjj won a close decision over tarver in their first fight. Then Tarver destroys RJJ with one punch in the rematch. Did you really have to see the 3rd fight to know who would win it???

read it. IMHO Williams' 1st round KO erases the embarassing 1st loss. it obviously proved that Williams has KO power and that Williams can make adjustments.

Just like I didn't have to see RJJ/Tarver 3 to know the winner of the rubbermatch, I don't have to see Williams/Quintana 3 to know the winner of that rubbermatch.

RJJ isnt really one of my favorite fighters, i belive that he fought a lot of no bodys for most of his career, but it is a very good questions because i havnet seen any on those fights just the highlight of Tarver KO'g RJJ. Was it on PPV? cause i have never paid to see a RJJ fight, except against Tito cause i was curious to see how Tito would do after such a long lay off. To get back on topic and to answer your question i would say Tarver won the third fight because he was not a bum like most of RJJ opponents.

after all Tarver was in The last Rocky movie so that means he aint no bum LMAO hahaha.

Who's hating here? It's a excellent match. Don't let your bias show here, fero. You are a fan of boxing, right? Then why not see a great match at 147, regardless of who is fighting? Your better then this, man.
