bernard lands 2 clean punches and he wins the fight?the first 1 was more of joe avoiding hopkins head thats why he got caught with the right
Joe didn't have anyone tired. A 43 year old man who hasn't been a very active fighter in the last 2 years got tired all on his own.

That same 43 year old sent Joe Calzaghe flying on his ass in the first round. That same 43 year old fighter didn't have a scratch on him whereas Joe has plenty of bruises to show for it.

You can't hurt a defensive master like B-Hop when you're a ****sexual puncher. You need more power and accuracy then that.

When comparing legacies, you also compare overall skill and ability. And Hopkins by far is the more skilled fighter.

It's like comparing Delahoya and Whitaker. Oscar has a win and and pretty good accomplishments but you compare them skill4skill and we all know that Pernell is going down as a better fighter legacy wise.
      Ummmmm... sorry.... no???

I thought legacy was just the same as resume, no? What you leave behind, etc.

And that's even if I agree that Hopkins has more skill.

being tired wouldnt have anything to do with the fact he was 43 years old, no? of course not,

i didnt see calzaghe land to many clean shots either,

hopkins landed the cleaner punches throughout

Nobody is reading or taking anything serious that you say.

Your whole personality is JOE CALZAGHE. Your name, your avatar, your signature picture. You're a certified cheerleader of Joe. I mostly skipp through all of your nonsense and get to the good posts.

Yes what you leave behind but the SKILLS FACTOR is the virtual tie breaker since both of them have a similar career in terms of title defenses and moving up to win a light-heavy title. That and who has beaten more "great" fighters.

Hopkins wins in that one as well. You add to the fact that their fight was close and hard to score with one judge even giving it to Hopkins......how can Calzaghe be considered with a better legacy????

A tie at best for Joe. The threadcreator made this poll and they aint lieing......Hopkins is dominating the votes.

              2. Calzaghe fights like a ***** fighting his way out of spider webs. No rhytm and no coordination.

              3. RJJ is probably the most gifted fighter of all times not Floyd. That was not the point. We were comparing two guys who have a similar resume based on title defenses at their weight and moving up and winning Ring Light-heavy titles. The difference is in overall skill and how many great fighters they have on their resume. Hopkins by far has more great names on his resume whether they were small or not. The only "great" fighter on Joe's record to date is Hopkins.
              1. hopkins uses opponents that are slow or have bad foot work but if you don't have bad footwork then his plan b is to fight dirty he will excessively clinch, head butt and all types of extra ****, joe can actually adjust to fights as you can see in the kessler fight and the bernard fight, bernards last ko was against the smaller oscar. you say joe wins on workrate bernard wins on defence because he barely punches
2 no rhytm and coordination and he was still able to beat hopkins
3 how is roy jones the most gifted when floyds in fighting and defense is 10x better than jone

i don't see these cleaner punches throughout. after the 4th round everything was joe except for the 10th which was the round bernard had to take a rest because joe was getting in that ass
