what does bernard do? he barely fights.where is all this skill?he's a smart fighter but joe seems to be more skilled than bernard. While it's close to some and Joe does have a victory head to head.
When comparing legacies, you also compare overall skill and ability. And Hopkins by far is the more skilled fighter.
It's like comparing Delahoya and Whitaker. Oscar has a win and and pretty good accomplishments but you compare them skill4skill and we all know that Pernell is going down as a better fighter legacy wise.
if legacy's were about who we think has the better skills and ability that would make floyd the greatest of all timeComment

1. Joppy has been a top 10 middlweight fighter for a long time claiming and reclaiming a middlweight belt.
2. Trinidad was not fat when he fought Hopkins and he is fat now because of age and inactivity.
3. Comparing a 5'6 no power having Hatton to a 5'10 Trinidad who was knocking out guys at 154 is stretching it yet again to try and make a point. I'll ask you again, would you take away credit from Diaz had he beaten Manny Pacquiao when he was moving up to lightweight??? Would you take away credit from Baldomir had he defended his belt sucessfully against a former super-featherweight in Mayweater?
Trinindad was 40+ and 0 and a big favorite against Hopkins. That was the fight that showed everybody that Hopkins is not just a very good middlweight but a great middlweight.Comment

1. If you were watching boxing for more then 3 years you wouldn't ask me what Bernard does. Dissing Hopkins and then saying this ****sexual punher is more skilled is absurd. He wins by workrate and being awkward.....nothing else to it.
2. Calzaghe fights like a ***** fighting his way out of spider webs. No rhytm and no coordination.
3. RJJ is probably the most gifted fighter of all times not Floyd. That was not the point. We were comparing two guys who have a similar resume based on title defenses at their weight and moving up and winning Ring Light-heavy titles. The difference is in overall skill and how many great fighters they have on their resume. Hopkins by far has more great names on his resume whether they were small or not. The only "great" fighter on Joe's record to date is Hopkins.Comment

[QUOTE=j.razor;3785088]joe had bernard crying to the ref and he had bernard so tired that bernard had to fake getting hit low to get some rest.
bernard lands 2 clean punches and he wins the fight?the first 1 was more of joe avoiding hopkins head thats why he got caught with the rightComment
