Floyd beats prime Kostya with ease at 140.

When Kostya fought Ricky Hatton he was not shot and Ricky beat that @ss.

I also remember Kostya struggling with Sharmba Mitchell (first fight), Oktay Urkal and of course, Vince Phillips who ko'd him in brutal fashion.

Kostya had little to no head movement and his defense was poor.

Floyd Jr. would have won this fight easily.

We all witnessed Floyd go up to 154 and beat Oscar De La Hoya.

Kostya at 140 poses a lesser threat than Oscar at 154. Floyd all the way... and by TKO.

but even in both his losses, he still did OK. against phillips he was weight drained ( he had trouble making jww in the late 90's but he improved his diet after this fight and made it easier) and poorly motivated.....and against hatton he was old, had no motivation, and plus ricky got away with frigging murder, hitting tszyu low, hanging off him and not letting kostya actually box, turning it into a bloody wrestling match.......but against floyd the ref did his job
I don't think I've seen more excuses in one post in my entire life. My God!

I don't understand how or why people could still question Floyd's chin even into the man's retirement. LOL!

No matter how good one's defense is, at some point and time, he will get hit by his opponent.

Sweetpea had superior defense to Floyd Mayweather and Sweetpea was floored many of times in his career.

        Floyd's chin was outstanding.

I saw him eat a Chico Corrales hook without flenching. I remember in the first fight with Jose Castillo, he ate a left hook to the head and follow up left to the body. Floyd was actually frozen for a split second, but then he snapped out of it.

Judah hit Floyd with a few bombs in the early rounds of their fight and Oscar landed some nice shots as well.

If Floyd had a Judah chin, he would have been KTFO more than once.

I'd picked Kostya 60/40 to win this fight, as been said before the best way to beat Tszyu is from swarming him from the inside, he doesn't like fighting on the back foot. Give him a bit of space on the outside and you see Tszyu come alive, he was the "anti-slick" boxer if you like if you gave him room he would exploit it. Now Mayweather has a amazing defence but isn't a so called pressure fighter if Mayweather looked to counter Tszyu he would get him self in all sorts of problems. It's hard to say if Tszyu could KO Mayweather he had insane power but i've never seen Mayweather in big trouble. Style wise I think Tszyu would be the one to take Mayweathers "0" if they ever faced each other in the past

Very difficult fight for Floyd...Zoo was not the raw brawler that some like to remember him as....he was a very smart fighter who could fight on the inside and the outside and when you fought KT on the outside he always won...his two loses were two fighters who just outworked and outmuscled him...on the inside.

Nobody beat him fighting from a distance...that right hand usually got placed at some point and that was the difference-ask Zab Judah (who was supposed to box circles around Zoo).

Tough and very uncomfortable fight for Floyd-could go either way.

I honestly think Mayweather would be able to beat Tszyu on the outside because Tszyu needed to find his rhythm and I'm not sure if he would be able to find his rhythm against Mayweather if he fights a smart fight and when Tszyu couldn't find his rhythm, he gets a bit wide and wild with his shots which would play against him.

Mayweather would've beat him on the inside and on the outside

Tszyu was a great fighter and top five all-time at 140 but no way does he beat Floyd. He's simply overmatched there.

Did any of you guys see his fight against Vince Phillips? Floyd would take the fight on the inside and punish him. Tszyu needed extension on his shots - Floyd would be too much, especially at 140.

That's called reaching. One blow from a lighthitting Corley doesnt measure up by one from the hardest punch the division has ever seen (Zoo's right).

The thing is Mayweather got caught against Corley by a looping shot, Mitchell landed one too. Zoo's money punch is a straight right hand. A very straight one. When did you see Mayweather getting caught flush in the head by a straight right?

All the people saying Hatton had the ref in his pocket must've missed the two low blows that Kostya gave him before Ricky gave one back. People always presume Hatton got favourable treatment - people even claim Tszyu's nutshot was a "bodyshot"

It was a rough fight but both guys gave as good as they got.
