You're speaking nonsense again, Jab. Hatton never even had a PPV fight before Mayweather. So how are you going to say Mayweather needed Hatton?

Hatton brought 10,000 brits to vegas with him. Based on that number you don't think an overwhelming amount of them bought the PPV?

Nobody questioned Delahoya's ability to sell. He out sells everybody, not just Mayweather. But to suggest Hatton was the only reason Mayweather made big money or that Mayweather needed 24/7 to sell the fight is just hating without facts to back it up and it really sounds ****** to be honest with you.

1st and foremost lets keep in mind that mayweather couldnt sell out in GRAND RAPIDS his hometown. He would never had experienced the success he did without ODLH or Hatton. There is no way he would have done those #s had he fought WRIGHT on FOX TV much less ppv. As far as them saying its a race thing.. Perhaps they forget that HBO also was heavy on MOSLEY, FORREST, JONES, Lennox, Jermain Taylor, Michael Grant, Tarver.... Anyway my point is Wright was never a draw, nor was Mayweather till ODLH. The only time I saw Wright FIGHT was against Mosley the first time, after that he has never put up a fight. Jabbing and hiding will not attract fans..ala Sweet Pea.
Sweet Pea was one of the best fighters ever but just not a draw to the average fan. The average fan wants to see VASQUEZ vs MARQUEZ every fight.
