HBO just gives props to real FIGHTERS! It's not that they don't get all hyped up soley cuz a fighter is Black. If all hispanic fighters fought like Pernell Whitaker then, they wouldn't be fighting on HBO, Showtime or PPV. And, not all black fighters fight in a defense first style, as Winky, Bernard, Roy or Floyd do. It just so happens that they are HBO fighters and that's thier style. Exciting fighters, i.e., Kelly, most Mexicans, Manny, Shane and Cotto are fun to watch. They make **** happen in the ring. Notice I included Shane, a BLACK fighter among the exicing fighters that most people enjoy watching. Boring styles do not get as much props as exciting styles from ANYONE, not just HBO. So it's not that Floyd is Black, but rather that he is BORING and that's why HBO does not provide him with the same hype as they provide a Kelly Pavlik or a Manny Pacquiao.

Nobody believes Floyd is boring. I believe it is a bias in styles too, but I can't just dismiss what Floyd and winky have said.
