Doesn't matter. The remark had more racial overtones than anything the HBO crew has said or done. People just don't forget **** like that. And once you show that side of yourself (the side I believe most hard working people take as insulting no matter what color they are) You're pretty much stuck with it.

I didnt take it that way, to me if he felt undervalued and underappreciated its a valid statement then. If say I was asked to build a two story house from scratch and I was offered say $5,000 to do it, I would say those are "slave wages". Very valid.

"Black fighters we have different styles" but they expect us to go out there and trade (entertaining fighters)...

Im sure he felt undervalued. But $5,000 and 12 mil are a world apart to what most people can relate to. calling it "slave wages" is insulting, In myn opinion, made it sound as if he was being lowballed because he was black. That I didn't see at all.

money on any fighters PPV. And now he wonders why people dislike him and question him.
"slave wages" is just a figure of speech. all he meant was that he wasn't getting paid as much as other HBO fighters. he's not talking about every working man.

he doesn't care why people dislike him and question him, what he can't understand is why people (including HBO and HBO announcers) gush over lesser fighters who's craft is not up to par with mayweather's.

In almost every other sport and in real life situations the most skilled persons are paid the most money... only in boxing are the unskilled rewarded because they are "exciting" (ie. they are easy to hit or can't avoid getting hit).

No he didn't, I read what he said. He didn't even mention the word "Warrior", or define to you what exactly a warrior is. By your implication, you seem to have a definition that doesn't coincide with the standardized definition.
