so winky is pissed off cause HBO are racist, but in his summary of the fight game he says all fighters that aren't black are sluggers that block shots using their head as a shield!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Even when Winky says "we got style, we got pizzazz" it sounds boring......

I think HBO and their commentators want fighters that entertain the masses and bring up their ratings, they don't necessarily care about the skills of the fighter themselves. of course HBO is running a business and they have to look at the bottom line.

that's why they rag on many black fighters because black fighters try to not get hit... while every other ethnicity/nationality either want to get hit in the face or can't avoid getting hit in the face.

hbo used to rag on jmm too but that was because jmm was fighting like a black fighter by using defense.

That said, fight fans want to see a fight and hbo wants to give fight fans a fight.

Wright didn't seem to mind HBO when they were doing a count down to his last PPV fight, by making out the guy is an exciting fighter.

If anything Winky should be thanking them, those guys always made out he was more entertain than he really was.

Well it's a REAL SHAME that Winky had to go this low to get some attention. Honestly, Mayweather does this and I don't give a ****, it's expected of him; but from Winky??? I've just lost all the respect I have for him...

I think that the usage of words is wrong but still... some sort of truth is defenitely in it.

Like I said before... 2 days ago I watched an old tape of Whitaker and Chavez... and at this time ppl had respect for what Sweet Pea was doing. And his style is not like May's or Winky's... but they are both also defensive minded fighters... so I think you can compare them a bit. It's simply a fact that HBO is not very objective when it comes to certain boxers who aren't ''entertaining''. And there is the problem... if a fan doesn't understand what May or Winky is doing... that's ok and their right... but as an broadcast you have to remain unbias. And that's simply not giving. JMM is a good example. He was always to unexciting and so Barrera and Morales got the nod. And as he came back and fought a bloody fight they hyped him. And it's ok, cuz a network has his interests and wants to draw money... but if they don't like the way Floyd or Winky are fighting... then they should not show their fights instead of bashing them. I mean look at their words: Wake me up if something happens... biggest PPV Mismatch (not meant in a positive way, that one fighter is that good, that he makes it look like a mismatch) and and and.

Boxing is an art... what most fans call entertainment has nothing to do with boxing. You should watch UFC or whatever. There's a lot of blood and entertainment.

Some ppl are pissed off because of the PPV's. And I do agree... May vs. Baldo should have never been a PPV. But hey... HBO could have said something and why should a boxer say no... I don't want a little bit more money... That's not their fault... So don't blame the boxers, blame the network... if you would be a boxer you would also love to fight on PPV...

ShowTime on the other hand is really doing a nice job.

                    Floyd & Winky STFU!!!

First of all, both of these guys need to thank HBO for allowing them to get to where they are. Mayweather is very quick to throw dollars in our faces everytime he talks, he's no better than Zab Judah in that reagrd, he's foolish.....The only reason why heretired in my opinion is that he's afraid to get beat, he knows that Cotto, Margarito, Paul Williams, and even Clottey would get in that ass, and give him a good run for the money....He isn't a true welterweight, he fought smaller guys, other than Oscar, but we all know Oscar wasn't Oscar when Floyd fought him, and he got by with a Split Decision..... As far as fans and HBO annoucers wanting to see fighters fight and mix it up, there's nothing wrong with that. The guys that they mentioned, Oscar, Cotto, Pac-Man, are all exciting fighters that lay it all out and fight hard willing to mix it up to score an exciting appealing victory..Furthermore at the end of the day, each of those guys have shown and are willing to fight ANYBODY!!! Unlike Floyd!!!...

Ask anyone if they enjoy watching Winky Wright, all he does is coverup the entire fight, throws alot of pitty pat shots, and is quite boring to watch..... Mayweather could be an exciting fighter, his biggest thing is that he doesn't take risks in a fight...If he truly cared about his legacy and his place in boxing, he needed to fight the best fighters that were around in his division....

So NO HBO isn't racist, Strike that HBO is racist against boring fighters!!!
