Nobody was massively opposed to that fight til after. And that fight was one Floyd had wanted for years. It was his target in climbing through these weight classes.

Baldomir was about setting that fight up by claiming the lineal welterweight championship, Ring, WBC.

Laughable as it may seem now, a number of people were actually calling for Mayweather-Hatton.

**** outta here with yourself. You're already established as a twister of the truth, so your opinion ain't **** to me.
    Just an asskissing internet celebrity.
A number of people like you? That doesn't count.. Every fighter has it's 'zombie supporters'. You were gonna ride his **** no matter who he fought, and so were 'a number of people', as you call it.

I guess I am an asskissing celebrity. Or at least a celebrity.. because you seem to know a lot about me. Whatever it is- it's not that serious. Take a deep breath and get over that persona for a second.

      Exactly.

Revisionism is obviously fun for some of these cumwads.

You've been here since May.. You weren't even here for most of Floyd's fights, so you can't exactly say that you know whether or not people are revisionist historians. I was rooting for Floyd against DLH, but even as a fan (maybe because of it), I knew that the fight would be an easy one for Floyd.

I say Pacman but i think Mayweather made a big impact on the media level, I hope Pacman can make that sort of impact as well.

It's clear from my post I wasn't one of those calling for Mayweather-Hatton to be made.

Though it was good to see Hatton get smoked, I admit.

The only one of us two with a "persona" is you. The persona of a bottomfeeding kissass.
Like I said, you're an established liar. Which makes your words worthless to me.

DLH had every advantage like he had fought once in the past TWO and a HALF YEARS, he had lost 2, arguably 3 of his last 4 fights, he was 34 years old - 9 years past his peak at #1 p4p, he had clearly lost the speed and sharpness that made him so good to begin with, he was a full time promoter looking to cash in on one or two more paydays, etc.

And Floyd clearly lost the first fight with Castillo.
