Better Representative of the #1 P4P Status, Pacquiao or Mayweather?

Most people expect Floyd to beat Cotto as well. So what's your point?
If Floyd is hungry to box again, if Cotto beats Margarito and continues to build this amazing legacy his fans say he gonna build, Mayweather-Cotto will likely happen.
If Cotto gets sorely beat down by Margarito, Cotto gonna go out of a lot of folks' heads real quick.Comment

If by now, Floyd is still saying that the number 1 fighter in the division needs to build a 'legacy', then idk what he has to do.Most people expect Floyd to beat Cotto as well. So what's your point?

What legacy did Baldomir have?
Did Hatton have a better legacy than Cotto? Even at that point? Please.
You can't have double standards for every other fight.Comment

I was referring to some Cotto fans' claims that Cotto will achieve more in the sport ultimately than Floyd has, when Miguel has almost hit his ceiling already.
For the record, Baldomir was about the lineal welterweight championship.
After De La Hoya, Floyd transcends the rat race. He's doing it on his terms.
Hatton was a $$$ fight, pure and simple.
That said, some people wanted it.
As for what Floyd's game is right now.
I truly believe he wanted a break. He earned it. But I think he is waiting for one of these welterweights to emerge as the undisputed force in his break period.
Then he will be back, to make the biggest fight possible.
I could be wrong. But that's what I think the plan is.Comment

Simple. The guy with no "0". I like Pacquiao but he's no Floyd. Ring-intelligence is what separates the two.Comment

No, what you SAID was that Floyd will fight Cotto if Cotto continues to build his legacy.

So I guess that now Floyd is supremely focused on fighting opponents who have the best legacies?
And the funny thing is that even a fan like acknowledges that Floyd's retirement is bull****. That he did it to pull out of that sideshow rematch. The sad thing is that you accept it like it's normal. That is the absolute peak of blind worship.Comment
