P4P best is not the representative of our sport. It should be the heavyweight champion, oh wait no one knows him. Maybe in Germany. HAHAHAHA

I'm going to have to go with Floyd for the simple fact that P-4-P means how a guy with any skillset would compete with guys in any weight class. It would be harder to beat a guy with Floyd's skills than it would to beat a Manny-like fighter. We've seen what it takes to beat Manny through Erik Morales. Just because Manny is a more likeable person, doesn't mean he is better p-4-p.

Yeah. Pacquiao never accepted a bag of money in the back seat of a limo from Oscar Delahoya.

I voted Floyd for similar reasons others have done so. When I think of, not necessarily unbeatable, but close to it I think of Floyd. He was a technician of the highest order.

I think Pacquiao is a better representative for the sport in the sense of his style being so fan-pleasing in general... but I don't think being the representative for the sport and p4p #1 should be synonymous with each other.

I agree 100%. Plus Pacquiao didn't earn the #1 spot by beating his opponents, it was handed to him when Floyd retired.

floyd mayweather is a great fighter i would give him that credit but the image he displayed made people think that he doesn't deserve it. if he couldv'e just fought the way a champion should be then he couldv'e represented it the way it should be. but who cares. we got a manny pacquiao who gives us entertainment, excitement and brutal action. adding to that pacquiao is a humble person who helps people and who fights for his people and countryman. that is what a champion should be and that is what a #1 fighter should be.

Since that guy was black I had to vote for Floyd Mayweather.

Constant struggle and Floyd Mayweather can't be in the same sentence, not unless you're talking about Jr. and Sr.

Pacquiao is keeping boxing alive by contributing more to the sport. Mayweather retired in his prime, avoided a couple of fighters that would've given him some major problems, couldn't really satisfy fans, all he cared about is his perfect record, and would do everything (retire) to stay pretty.

Floyd Mayweather Jr is a selfish prick. He is disgrace to the sport.
