Ray didn't duck anyone, I mean that **** he pulled in the rematch with Duran was *****-made lol, but that's about it. And didn't he leave Hagler hangin cause of an eye problem? The detached retina happened before 5 years before the Hagler fight, Leonard didn't give Hearns a rematch until he thought Hearns was shot, he also didn't give Hagler a rematch because he claimed to be retired but then came back when Hagler announced his retirement.

He also didn't fight Pryor or McCallum.

Totally agree. Oh well, I guess you get more publicity this way and have to take the bad with the good. In 10 years, nobody is going to remember any of this Cotto and Margarito **** anyway. They'll be saying Floyd is one of the best fighters ever and never came close to losing when he was healthy.

You used to hate floyd what happend?

Floyd is not hated because he is a bad guy. People like bad guys. What people don't like is excuses to not fight "what is termed a tough opponet(Margarito, Cotto)

Pryor would not have beaten Leonard. Pryor had been down at 140 in his prime and Leonard was too big for him. Sure i'd watch the fight but im sure Leonard who have beating Pryor.

Your first sentence gave me a flashback. I recall always reading messages from Ring Magazine readers how Leonard is over rated. But, i don't know what fans thought of him at the time he was in his prime.

And i didn't want to point it out but Leonard took a long time to fight Hearns. Or you could say his trainer didn't want to the fight either right away as he said he wanted to wait and Angelo Dunde is the reason Leonard fought Benitez for the title and not Pipino Cuevas. Dundee thought Cuevas was way too dangerous of a puncher for Leonards first title shot.
