Ray didn't duck anyone, I mean that **** he pulled in the rematch with Duran was *****-made lol, but that's about it. And didn't he leave Hagler hangin cause of an eye problem? Doctors advice due to a detatched retina or somthin? Not only that, but Ray jumped on the oppertunity to fight Hagler and Hearns.
      Ray ducked Pryor.

The retina was a long time before the Hagler fight happened, adn had nothing to do with ”retiring“ to duck a rematch.

So you can definitely compare the two, if you don't have fart clouding your brain.

Wow!!! that's a great one liner on Monzon! good k

I think because he's a tad chinny. Corley rocked him pretty good, and if Corley were anything resembling a finisher, he'd have stopped Mayweather. Not that this makes him a worse fighter, but I think this is partly why he just doesn't take risks...to worried about getting his ass KO'd. Leonard didn't seem to give a ****.
You need to watch that round again...

Bottom Line: Ray Leonard pulled stuff far worse than Mayweather has probably even THOUGHT about trying, yet he is loved by everyone, including me.

The Mayweather hate will pass as quickly as Margarito and Cotto from any history books

He is overestimating what happened between margarito and mayweather. He has argued for years that margarito and mayweather will be mentioned in the same sentence and mayweather not fighting a guy who should be fighting at 154 and is 6'0 tall will drag down his career accolades. I think you know ferocity better than that.

Hagler had it the hard way, before getting a title shot he had already cleaned the division, than when he got it, he got a draw which was not highway robbery, but not exactly on point accordingto many observers.

That's another reason why someone like Hopkins respect him and feel him.

Maybe. Either way, we're still waiting for Hearns to show up.
