Mayweather`s a money fighter ,he makes no bones about. He`s looking to maximize his earning.Cotto did the same thing when he took mad long to sign the contract for the Margarito fight. He was negotiating a bigger purse.

I want to see Floyd fight Cotto as much as the next man,but i understand he wants to maximize the amount of money he makes, so i understand.

You people are hypocrites for real when.Cotto wants to fight Oscar and its ok, but its not ok and considered a path of least resistance when Foyd chooses to fights him.

Fact is ya`ll looking for anything to criticize Floyd for so ya`ll could sleep better at night.

Floyd is on top of his game. He is creating a household name.

Cotto is still starting his stardom but he is only knowen in the boxing world same as Margarito who is less knowen, 2 years ago nobody really knew him.

So he already have 5 title in every division so name a person who has the same? only few with and fewer with an undeafted record too.

Many could complain why Flody is this and that but the matter of fact look at the guys he fought at 135? what happen to them most of them even could competite at higher weightclass. and even the elite 135 pounder of that time Casamayor and Frietas never stood out from that weightclass.

Floyd has done **** regarding PPV numbers when not fighting Hatton or Oscar. He also can't sell tickets if he's in there with a lesser known fighter.

        Mayweather-Baldy didn't sell out, neither did Mayweather-Mitchell.

Oscar and Hatton both sat at the table with Floyd WHEN THEY HAD A MILLION AND FLOYD HAD $200.

If i wanted to prove i was THE BEST fighter in the world i would take on THE BEST competition.

If i wanted to earn the most money with the least risk then i would do what Floyd does, play around with wrestlers.

Mayweather's PPV numbers were pretty good before DLH and Hatton. He was in that second-tier in the 300-400 range, where guys like Hopkins, Mosley, Pacquiao, Barrera all seem to be.

Gatti, Judah, and Baldomir had never headlined PPVs, and Judah did little to promote the fight anyway.

Contrary to what some believe, Judah/Cotto only did 160,000, Margarito/Cintron I did 29,000, Cotto and Margarito on the same card this year on FREE HBO was one of HBO's worst ratings...ever. Margarito is deemed a "killer", killers are supposed to be must see tv, heck millions churn in every week to watch actors play killers on CSI and other crime shows, but when a real life one is before us we dont tune in, something is fishy with that. I know I wouldnt sit down and gamble with someone who doesnt bring anything to the table, props to Floyd.
Floyd is a freakin moron. The only reason Floyd made any PPV numbers is cuz of Oscar. If he never got the Oscar fight, he'd be fighting bums on HBO.

Yeah, and if it weren't for Oscar saving Floyd's ass after those horrible showings against Baldomir and Judah, Floyd would have found himself on HBO, cuz no one would have had any interest in watching him fight on PPV again, had it not been for DLH.
