So is every other boxers fan, Joe calzaghe's fan are the same, Hatton's fan are close to being the worst, Pacman's fan are also the same.

When you are at the top thats what happens. Nobody is saying we(Boxing fans) has to accept the business side of boxing but it helps to understand it.

How can u call yourself a fan of the sport, when all u do is make excuses for which why Floyd SHOULDNT fight Cotto until Cotto becomes a mainstream star? How does that benefit u as a fan? As i've stated several times before, fighters have advisors, lawyers, managers, and promoters to worry about all of thier financial and career moves. Will it make the fight any better for us if Floyd was to make $20mil instead of $12mil? If us fans who purchase the ppv were in line to recieve a percentage of the ppv revenue, then i would understand your stance, but we're not. So stfu about money already.

I agree but sadly that isnt the case. No other sport is ran like boxing, no other sport has backbiting, greedy promoters, managers, advisors who are taking a guaranteed percentage of your purse even though they arnt taking one punch. Boxing is ran differently than any other sport.

So would you agree that greedy, money-hungry people like Floyd harm the sport of boxing?!
If the best possible match-ups are not being made than the sport is suffering!

This is all being initiated and encouraged by people like Floyd Mayweather!

Contrary to what some believe, Judah/Cotto only did 160,000, Margarito/Cintron I did 29,000, Cotto and Margarito on the same card this year on FREE HBO was one of HBO's worst ratings...ever. Margarito is deemed a "killer", killers are supposed to be must see tv, heck millions churn in every week to watch actors play killers on CSI and other crime shows, but when a real life one is before us we dont tune in, something is fishy with that. I know I wouldnt sit down and gamble with someone who doesnt bring anything to the table, props to Floyd.
            You Floyd nuthuggers are pathetic.

Is this your way or trying to justify the fact that Floyd is a ducker and a fraud?

Two things you forget to address. One is that just because the fight hasnt been made doesnt mean it wont, second, if the fight doesnt come off, Floyd isnt the first to not fight a guy the public clamored for them to fight. Why is Sugar Ray Leonard so praised, believe it or not he handpicked his butt off, fought Hagler when he saw Hagler didnt look good in the previous fight, wouldnt fight Aaron Pryor, but Leonard is loved and all is seemed forgotten. You cant please everyone so why try. If he ever fights Cotto and wins, some will say well he should have fought Cotto when Cotto was prime prime, like right now.

I'm 100% with you there but what you're doing is supporting the business side as if you were getting a piece of the pot! If you pay $60 to watch a fight you want it to be entertaining and you want the fighter you paid for to fight the best possible opponent out there! If you think otherwise you're NO GOOD for the sport of boxing!!!

Aaagh! In boxing terms the only thing Floyd has to gamble with is his goddamn welter belt and his p4p status! Both things you're supposed to defend if you want to keep. Refusing to 'gamble' with them is the same thing as saying you're afraid to fight.

Money and PPV numbers are important only in Floyd's mind and that of his marketing team. They have **** all to do with boxing!

lol he's praised for that because he came out of a 3 year retirement which was caused by an eye injury, same one Brewster had, went up in weight and beat the current undisputed Middleweight champion.
