Woodhall was a very good fighter, certainly not a "paper champion".

When i say that Woodhall was a paper champion, i don't say it to put him down. A paper champion is a fighter that did not win his belt against a champion or wins it vacant against a no name fighter. Cintron was a paper champion, Mundine was a paper champion, Sturm is a paper champion and Woodhall was a paper champion. These are fighters that won their belts against limited opposition. It doesn't mean that they aren't good, it means that they aren't major players in their divisions and a win over them is nothing to brag about.
