and take a look at who my favorite fighter is. you're last little paragraph doesn't apply to me.
Dude when the **** did I say Zab Judah (or even Floyd Mayweather) could do no wrong!?!

If anything, you've called me a hypocrit for defending Mayweather and then saying I still want to see the Mayweather-Cotto in the same post MORE than you've ever admitted that Mayweather just might be a pretty good fighter.

BUT if anyone were to EVER call you out on that what would you do? You'd call that person a hypocrit.

Kessler and Lacy were better performances, though I'm happy Joe got the LHW ring belt.
Yes... well this comes down to the fact that a lot of the Hopkins nuthuggers probably had seen very little footage of Calzaghe before the fight. I had seen Hopkins fight over 10 times before the Calzaghe fight and I must agree that he is past his prime, but he lost, his fault for taking the fight IMO.
      Not Calzaghe's

let me ask you guys this,

you guys wont give Calzaghe credit for his win because of HOW he won because it is an issue about P4P status, yet you have NO problem keeping Floyd at #1 regardless of the fact that he isn't facing the best opposition available which is something the P4P#1 fighter should be doing right?

So when in discussion about P4P status, a fighter's performance and quality of opposition need to be taken into consideration when discussing where they rank regardless of a "W".................except if they are Floyd Mayweather Jr.

        yeah.....noooooooooo hypocrisy there.

If Floyd were 6'6 and 245 pounds, I'd pick him to beat Wlad.

If FLoyd were 4'1 and 26 pounds, I'd pick him to beat Pacman.

If Floyd were 6'2 and 175 pounds, I'd pick him to beat Calzaghe.

          Hence P4P nr.1.

Ok smart a$$, quote where I said that I don't give Calzaghe credit for the win. Quote it.

The is I said anyone worth their weight in legitimacy, HAS to give Calzaghe credit. BUT, in answering the question, I also said that the reason he's getting criticism is because he's near the top of the P4P charts. In much the same way Mayweather gets criticism for his performances.

It happens. Oh well. He won and he's the champ. I NEVER discredited his win. You're just so obsessed with Floyd Mayweather that you can't see that. GET OVER YOURSELF.

All your posts in this thread are great 2501, I have never seen such varied and creative ways to deny a fighter credit as the posts you argue against. "He has to be entertaining!" Ridiculous, against Bernard Hopkins? Also, are we not taking his two ass-whoopings of Lacy and Kessler into consideration on the entertainment front, or don't they count?

2501 is a good lad indeed.

But Lacy and Kessler shouldn't be brought up in discussions concerning Hop-Calz.

                    If we're having rules

Hop-Calz was boring. It doesn't mean Calz is **** or that he's a boring fighter. see the previous 44 wins in his career for further information.

                      Not at all.

I can't even begin to understand how on earth people expected Calzaghe to be exciting and impressive against the style-destroyer Hopkins.

No one could look impressive against a defensive minded Hopkins.
                      Not even Winky "1-2" Wright.
