i don't think people should automatically assume cotto has a better chin because he's never been technically knocked down... He's been obviously hurt in many fights! I don't remember seeing Margo visibly hurt... maybe stunned a bit but not hurt..
in any case, it's going to be a good fight... and I hope cotto wins so i can see PBF and Cotto

Nah but I'm watchin the second round right now, Cotto was hurt and all over the place. The knock down was bound to come, Cotto just couldn't stay on his feet. Torres was inaccurate and a little bit wild. And didn't he take the fight on short notice?

i agree i belive tony has the better chin if he didnt have that chin i would go with cotto but im wioth tony i think he has what it takes to break down cotto mentally and phisically.

Torres was rocking and a rolling on Miguels big fat head. No one is saying he was not getting hammered, what we are saying is that it was not a legitimate knock down.

I never argue a fight unless I have watched it at least 3 of 4 times. Not only do I watch them again, I watch them from different networks because the cameraman they are using are more than 3 and different broadcasters will give slightly different angles and feeds too and you can get just a little more perspective in the matter.

For those of you who keep going back to Cotto getting hurt against Torres and Corley or getting rocked by Zab Judah....as a way to explain a victory for Margarito.

It has been reported that Margarito suffered knockdown's against 3 different fighters:

Danny Perez (a guy Daniel Santos tko'd in 7) , Miguel Gonzalez (Tijuana defeated him by Split decision) and most importantly Juan Soberanes by a body shot.(Imagine if Cotto puts some of those bodyshots on him.) Margarito defeated all those guys by decision. Cotto knocked his guys out.


Just something to consider.

What does the "chin" matter in this fight? When was the last time you seen cotto knock somebody out with just hitting him in the chin,never. He hits to the body. He will go at margos body not his chin. He will try to swell up his face though.
