Torres was rocking and a rolling on Miguels big fat head. No one is saying he was not getting hammered, what we are saying is that it was not a legitimate knock down.

I never argue a fight unless I have watched it at least 3 of 4 times. Not only do I watch them again, I watch them from different networks because the cameraman they are using are more than 3 and different broadcasters will give slightly different angles and feeds too and you can get just a little more perspective in the matter.
That is where I fail to see the logic in peoples notion that Cotto will get knocked out by Margarito. Cotto survived that onslaught by Ricardo Torres.

People forget. Torres was 28-0 with 27 KO. Not exactly feather fisted. If Cotto could take Torres at 140 where he had a weaker chin, he can survive Margarito at 147.

Margarito does not hit nearly as hard at 147 as Torres did at 140. Not even close.

I'm a cotto fan so don't get your cotto panties in a bunch (journeyman) i'm just trying to be objective
Torres did push Cotto down, it was more like a pull while Cotto was holding on to Torres and he had nowhere to go but the canvas, so technically it wasn't a clean KD but Cotto was walking on thin ice from the shots he received from Torres so he would of been down regardless being pushed/pulled or whatever.

Torres was a horrible finisher and over anxious when he hurt Cotto, he was never able to sneak in another checking hook or right hand that would give him another chance to finish Cotto off. I'm not sure, but I think he took the fight on short notice and was never really able to get a second wind after those early rounds.

Tony can **** all night and is a seasoned welterweight lol..

And you base this theory on what? have you ever gotten hit flush in the chin by either man?

Yeah he did take the fight on short notice, a few weeks prior to the fight if I am not mistaken. I agree with Torres not being able to finish Cotto off, he easily could of because he landed some hard as shots on him. However I give Cotto his props because he did survive that onslaught, he got a few lowblows in between but he got the job done regardless. I see this the Tony-Cotto fight similar to this one, except Tony will finish the job Torres couldn't finish.

It has been reported that Margarito suffered knockdown's against 3 different fighters:

Danny Perez (a guy Daniel Santos tko'd in 7) , Miguel Gonzalez (Tijuana defeated him by Split decision) and most importantly Juan Soberanes by a body shot.(Imagine if Cotto puts some of those bodyshots on him.) Margarito defeated all those guys by decision. Cotto knocked his guys out.

                    Just something to consider.
ah **** damn it margarito is going to lose for sure now!!!!!

If this is some kind of argument that Cotto will knock Margarito out, it is a terrible argument. Muhammad Ali was knocked down at around the same age as Tony was. I don't think anybody would have use those examples as to why Frazier or Foreman would have KO'd him, because by the time he was in his prime, he was barely EVER knocked down again.

Furthermore anybody can be knocked down in Boxing, but if you look at it realisticly, there is no way Margarito is gonna be knocked out cold by Cotto.
The same thing apply to cotto
