I think the only valid point in all this is Tony has been knocked down to a body shot.

I mean Tony turned pro at what? 15 years old? And 3 of his 5 losses came when he was still in his teens I think lmao.

Since then his body have held up more than enough, and his offense is there, as unorthodox as it is, and his durability is more than evident. He beat some guys ear off his head a few years ago lol, Clottey though in complete control, hurt his hand, and got completely battered in the mid/later rounds, Paul Williams almost tipped over late in their fight until he hopped back and used his reach, and Cintron just fell to a body shot. So Tony's offense is legit when it lands, and his durability is beyond evident.

Which is why this is the fight of the year, the biggest fight of the year. The most anticipated, and a fight fans dream.

Cotto is the more skilled, obviously, but Tony is more then capable of steam rolling this one out and completely spoiling alot of big fights lmao. Now I love Cotto's style, but the fact Tony is this care-free brawler that will fight anyone, lol I don't know how I'm going to root against him. Both fighters have characteristics I like, Cotto has his ****/fight anyone type of style, and Margarito has that in your face/fight anyone type of style.

And you got the Rican/Mexican fued.

lol You got fans that will take it to a racial aspect come fight night, I mean the fight hasn't even started yet and the racial slurs are bein slung out like six shooters. But the prize is bigger on Margaritos behalf. He's suppose to lose, cause he's the less technical fighter, Cotto/Mayweather has BEEN a highly demanded fight, and Margarito has a chance to rain on more parades then one lol. I mean if Cotto loses, the Ricans are gonna go berserk, their golden child falls and they'll definanlty flip hard lmao. This fight has everything, the stakes are high and despite the obvious difference in skill, it's still a great match-up.

If this is some kind of argument that Cotto will knock Margarito out, it is a terrible argument. Muhammad Ali was knocked down at around the same age as Tony was. I don't think anybody would have use those examples as to why Frazier or Foreman would have KO'd him, because by the time he was in his prime, he was barely EVER knocked down again.

Furthermore anybody can be knocked down in Boxing, but if you look at it realisticly, there is no way Margarito is gonna be knocked out cold by Cotto.
        Excellent post.

Why do you have to lie?

Even MUPPETMAN who is a Tony fan, admits that Cotto was pulled down.

If you run around saying that Cotto was knocked down then people are not going to take you serious and or they are going to assume you know nothing about boxing. One thing is for the ref to rule it a knock down because he does not have instant replay but another thing for the fans is we do have the liberty and privilege of watching the action again and we can clearly make the distiction between a pull down and a legitimate knock down.

I don't think Floyd can outbox Cotto for 12 rounds.. I mean Cotto's jab and quick first step and then throwing bombs at the opponent is pretty accurate and amazing... Malignaggi and Quintana tried their best to outbox and stay away from Cotto but still, Cotto is very good at fighting slicksters.. Speed is not a factor of beating Mayweather but his jab and quick first step, power, stamina and his vintage style of throwing left hook to the body first followed by his accurate bodywork to the body and head..No need for the shoulder roll of Floyd.. Cotto will hurt his hand or elbows..

Margarito will get KO from a body shot.. Antonio doesn't clinch and doesn't use his height and reach to his advantage.. Tony just there throwing bombs and uppercuts but what I notice Margarito's style is perfect made for Cotto to counter him with cominations to the body..

Cotto KO Margarito in 11 ROUNDS from a body shot!

lmao Just don't tell em what race you are

Nah but I'm watchin the second round right now, Cotto was hurt and all over the place. The knock down was bound to come, Cotto just couldn't stay on his feet. Torres was inaccurate and a little bit wild. And didn't he take the fight on short notice?

Anyways, Cotto can be hurt, and thats what makes this fight even more anticipated. Styles make fights and Tony's style can pull this off.

                      LOL.

Cotto was getting buzz sawed by Torres.

Torres was rocking and a rolling on Miguels big fat head. No one is saying he was not getting hammered, what we are saying is that it was not a legitimate knock down.

I never argue a fight unless I have watched it at least 3 of 4 times. Not only do I watch them again, I watch them from different networks because the cameraman they are using are more than 3 and different broadcasters will give slightly different angles and feeds too and you can get just a little more perspective in the matter.
