Santos beat him twice but hes still a good fighter, it was on the undercard of cotto-pinto, santos out brawled margarito before it was stopped. cotto-margarito should put alex de jesus on the undercard,

It has been reported that Margarito suffered knockdown's against 3 different fighters:

Danny Perez (a guy Daniel Santos tko'd in 7) , Miguel Gonzalez (Tijuana defeated him by Split decision) and most importantly Juan Soberanes by a body shot.(Imagine if Cotto puts some of those bodyshots on him.) Margarito defeated all those guys by decision. Cotto knocked his guys out.

            Just something to consider.

also Cotto was hardly hurt badly against Judah now was he ,he got caught with an uppercut but its not like he legs started to bettray him of anything & if u watch the Torres fight back yes he was hurt but he was hardly in a Norris v Blocker state was he ,he was'nt ready to be stopped or knocked out he was just hurt momentarily

Most fighters get hurt doesn't make them bad fighters.

You do realise boxing is two people hitting each other a lot?

he was badly hurt a few times but when he steped up to mosley he boxed like he owned the rg and didnt let himself get rocked he has gained a lot of experince, which makes me think hes a better fighter than de la hoya was in his prime.cause the last decade was a joke, fight of century or whatever trinidad-de la hoya proved to be a dud

id say he did get slightly hurt against Mosley but like u pointed out he is a lot smarter fighter than he was since the Torres fight the hands have come up more and the chin down

IMO being hurt is when your legs start to betray u that never happened against Mosley ,Judah etc, its like rusticraver said every fighter gets hurt but there are levels to how badly hurt u are u can be stunned rather than hurt ALA Calzaghe v Kessler ,Joe said himself that Kessler stunned him
