Hagler suffered a knockdown once, he must have been weak jawed.

Pavlik has been knocked down 3 or 4 times, he must have a china chin

Floyd suffered an unofficial knockdown from Judah, OMFG his chis is weak ass

Aaron Pryor was knocked down a few times, china chinz

    ---------------------------------------

My point is, unless someones chin fails them and causes a fighter to lose on a regular basis, they are not weak chined. Fighters that go in there and fight, sometimes get knocked down. If they get up and win, well it proves they got a ****load of fight in them

Margarito and Cotto can both take their licks. Some of you people need to educate yourselves.

It has been reported that Margarito suffered knockdown's against 3 different fighters:

Danny Perez (a guy Daniel Santos tko'd in 7) , Miguel Gonzalez (Tijuana defeated him by Split decision) and most importantly Juan Soberanes by a body shot.(Imagine if Cotto puts some of those bodyshots on him.) Margarito defeated all those guys by decision. Cotto knocked his guys out.

      Just something to consider.
the question is when Tony knocks cotto down can he get up......we know tony can cause its been proven....cotto has never been down ....torres pushed cotto he never put cotto down unless you count cotto down when he sat on the ropes in the torres fight cause he was sitting on the ropes ....alot of ppl didnt catch that!!

IMO being hurt is when your legs start to betray u that never happened against Mosley ,Judah etc, its like rusticraver said every fighter gets hurt but there are levels to how badly hurt u are u can be stunned rather than hurt ALA Calzaghe v Kessler ,Joe said himself that Kessler stunned him
Its cotto, he went at Torres carelessly for experince to get knocked down but when he wants to be he could be a very slick boxer, he switches his style no doubt against mayweather the real cotto would have to come out the one that beat pinto. Just like he changed his personailty, he use to be slick and calm in the ring, now hes not patinant enough.

Why dont we settle this once in for all! Make a poll with this title "Who has the better chin, Margarito or Cotto" and lets see what happens.

The Castillo fight is a mute point..because Floyd will just do to Cotto what he did to Castillo in the rematch.

That fight was 9 years ago..you dont think Floyds gotten any better??

Margarito had not been physically matured yet as a fighter. You'll find many fighters who were knocked down a couple of times early in their career, and went on to have a granite chin known by boxing fans when they reached their prime.

If this is some kind of argument that Cotto will knock Margarito out, it is a terrible argument. Muhammad Ali was knocked down at around the same age as Tony was. I don't think anybody would have use those examples as to why Frazier or Foreman would have KO'd him, because by the time he was in his prime, he was barely EVER knocked down again.

Furthermore anybody can be knocked down in Boxing, but if you look at it realisticly, there is no way Margarito is gonna be knocked out cold by Cotto.

Considering Cotto has NEVER been knocked down, and Tony has kissed the canvas three times, WHAT THE **** DO YOU NEED A POLL FOR?
You people can't add? I guess MATH, logic and some sound reasoning skills are not needed when one aspires to be a JARDINERO/GARDENER, right?

What happend to the Common Sense Brother Hood?
Fools are acting more like MARGARITA NUTHUGGERS rather then real people with any common sense.
