My point is, unless someones chin fails them and causes a fighter to lose on a regular basis, they are not weak chined. Fighters that go in there and fight, sometimes get knocked down. If they get up and win, well it proves they got a ****load of fight in them

The point was, people make Margarito out to be made out of Iron while degrading Cotto for getting his chin checked.

Some people didn't know that Margarito got knocked down 3 times and once to a bodyshot (not chin), so I had to point it out.

He is not a defensive fighter and if anybody can hurt Margarito, it's Cotto.

That is where I fail to see the logic in peoples notion that Cotto will get knocked out by Margarito. Cotto survived that onslaught by Ricardo Torres.

People forget. Torres was 28-0 with 27 KO. Not exactly feather fisted. If Cotto could take Torres at 140 where he had a weaker chin, he can survive Margarito at 147.

Margarito does not hit nearly as hard at 147 as Torres did at 140. Not even close.

Nor is he as fast as Torres. Remember you have to have enough speed to throw and land a punch. Cotto has been tested against some of the fastest fighters and he has come through.

cotto has never been hurt in the welterweight division, getting caught with clean punches or unexpected punches does not mean your hurt and if margarito gets a pass for getting dropped early in his career then cotto should get a pass for getting hurt at 140
