It is a legacy enhancing fight in the sense that Floyd would have beaten "the best guys" in five (at worst, four) weight classes.

People have short memories, and the haters always fall back on "who has he beaten at 147?"

130: Chicanito, Corrales, etc
135: Castillo
140: Hatton
147: Cotto (tbd)
154: Delahoya

Yes, I know. The Hatton fight was at 147. But , in reality, it was two 140 guys going at it.

In reality Floyd weighed in at the maximum welterweight limit for the Hatton fight, 147 lbs. But lets pretend it was at Ricky's best weight to make it look better. Just like that clever "tbd" after Cotto's name. Please, you're pissing on us and telling us it is raining.
