Team Mayweather: "Cotto Not Important"

If u really look at the big picture, most Floyd fans are making excuses as to why they DONT want to see Cotto/Floyd, while most Cotto fans are eager to see this fight win/lose/or draw for Cotto. Why is that? As a boxing fan, why would u NOT want to see this fight sooner rather than later?

To me Cotto is not a risk to Floyd at all.I've been a fan of floyd for far too long and knowing what he brings into the fight I dont see Cotto doing anything apart from losing.

Personally I'm happy to see Floyd making money coz he's gifted and has a good work ethic.I would want to see him fighting hatton coz Hatton has been talking **** for long.I just want to see him being shut up for good.

Why Floyd should fight Oscar,that was a split decision.Someome people still think Floyd lost and some think Oscar neglected the jab,for me I wanna see the fight being settled.many people were happy to see the dust clearing on the second castillo fight,why not have the same now then move on.?

I don't think that's the case. Why would they be afraid of Mayweather fighting Cotto? Although it would be a challenge, I think the majority of Floyd fans would favor him in a decision over Cotto. I think, a lot of the Floyd Fans feel they have to go balls out to support him, because of the constant hate he gets from the other posters on this board. They shouldn't really take what others say about their fighter so personal.

I don't know why floyd fans try and justify his business decisions, wouldn't you rather just see him in the best fight available which would seal his legacy and probably be a good entertaining fight that he is capable of winning

No disrespect to Cotto fans,you talk the way you do coz Cotto has everything to gain in the Floyd fight.

Honestly Floyd has nothing to gain in this fight,absoulutely nothing.Floyd has gone up to 154 and beaten a WBC champion who was way bigger than him and still very fast.Lets face it Oscar was a dangerous fighter who had brutally knocked out Mayorga in a previous fight.

I think its good to take both sides ,Floyd has a genuine reason of not fighting Cotto.
